“Identity is a prison you can never escape, but the way to redeem your past is not to run from it, but to try to understand it, and use it as a foundation to grow.” —Jay-Z I love the quote above. It speaks right thru me. I know I have had my fair share of not-so-good experience in the past. Some have made me down low to the point of giving up by ending my own life. If it weren't for my daughters and my family, I would have died years ago. But by God's grace I was able to get up little by little. I've been bruised and wounded and had my permanent scars. Others are still healing by God's grace. That is my identity "bugbog sarado" ako super. I praise God I am still standing. Just like this ligaw na damo kung tawagin. Still here and still blooming no matter how hard the wind blows at it. No matter how hot the sun shine on it. Some of its flowers are withered wounded and turned into brown. But when you look at it as a whole, it looks perfect. The colors complement each other. It is what made this plant look so perfect. Life is also akin to this not-so-tiny plant. Indeed I am like this plant. So many hard blows of life. They made me stronger and by God's grace I was able to come out victoriously. I am more than a conqueror. Praise God. I am not perfect and never will be but I feel good inside and out.💚👍👍💪💪
