I was looking for raindrops on plants early this morning and found some on my purple heart plant. This grasshopper, however, blocked my view for the best angle and became my subject instead. When I looked around my turtle vine plants, the topmost parts were eaten and most probably this grasshopper is the culprit. I'm not sure actually if this is a grasshopper.😁 Good evening, noisemates.

Yes, this is a type of grasshopper that likes to eat leaves, I really like seeing the unique shape of its head, if I look closely.

This type of grasshopper is also a major problem for some of the plants in my garden because it enjoys eating the young new shoots of plants.
