Did you notice that the sun appear bigger today? I was outdoors at 8:30AM and when I looked up in the sky the sun seem larger than usual. Was it because it's nearer the horizon around that time or because we are experiencing shorter days than nights. The weather seems fine today after several days of rain so maybe I find it strange. I also love to stare at the sun as it peeks through leaves and show off its colorful rays and I find it a good subject for photography.
