It is really difficult to be sick today. Doctors fee, laboratory fee and transportation is costly. Good if you have a health insurance if not, then you will fall short of your monthly budget.

They say love is not blind it is the lover who is blind. But the lover was just move by love and without the lover the love will not exist. So, who is blind?

Love is Martyrdom Love is the reason why man and woman enter into marriage. A holy matrimony in which couple pronounce their vows: in sickness and in health, for richer or poorer and until death thou they depart. Today's trend young couple prefer to live together than to get married. Unlike before parents is against on it but now they go with the trend, respect their children's decision. Well, nothing is wrong with it the only difference it is not sacramental.

I have not done so much yesterday since I am catching deadlines. Just a few comments and so got very points. But I wonder why others got a high points same with me they rest.

My birthday is like an ordinary day no celebrations for we are not used to it. Just church visit, light a candle and if there's a cake from a dear friend the whole family delighted to eat.

Celebrating My Day I was delivered by my mother at home with no doctor or midwife. She's alone pushing me out of this world so thin and sickly, wondering if I able to survive raising me alone with other three siblings. She's religious, she had a devotion to a certain saint for help to passed the hurdles of life for me to survive inspite of everything. Every birthday nothing special, just like an ordinary day going to church, light a candle to the devoted saint and a thanksgiving mass thanking God for good health. Envy is not my cup of tea seeing my friends having great celebrations. What is important to me is the extention of life hoping to 100 years full of energy and strenght devoid of illness. I'm thankful for friends sending me good wishes, gifts and cakes and I treasure it. It manifest the kind of friends they are. Thank you God you really love me.

Forgetting Even today I could still remember the first day I went to school, my first teacher, my first close friend and the first word I pronounce. Some scenery of younger years are still vivid in my mind. With coming of age we tend to forget, forgetting eyeglasses being place on the head, the cellphone already in the bag, closing the faucet, forgetting lunch because of work and so on and so forth. They were called memory lapses. Forgetting everything because of head injury it is called amnesia and forgetting because of anesthesia due to surgical operation is called temporary amnesia. Memory lapses, temporary and permanent amnesia is inevitable. No one is ecempted. But if a debtor tends to forget his obligation to a creditor what is it called? Fully aware in applying credit but when it comes to payment permanently forget. Was it permanent amnesia or just forgetting?

My Native Land The country that I live is an agricultural land. The kind of plants planted differed in every region and on the kind of soil it has. Vast tract of rice puddies overflowed in low lands and in a certain region rice puddies in an upland area creating a rice terraces. There are lots of varieties of fruit bearing tress in mountain areas creating a great scenery and mostly coconuts. In low lands where irrigation is not available different kinds of root crops planted. It is sometimes inter-cropped in coconut area. In other regions what overflow is sugarcane and rubber making landowners live in a comfortable life. The difference of the two: sugarcane is sweet and rubber smell like hell but sweet after your reap a huge return. The soil that my native land has is so fertile and abundant with natural resources. It has mines and minerals. It is really bless by God. But still many live in dire poverty. Only few are hacienderos (landowners) and many were bondage in the soil called tenants living in poverty. Nowadays, conversion of agricultural land to commercial or residential land is rampant. If this will continue hunger be ready for hunger. Lots of varieties of fruit bearing trees are abundant also.

If you are suffering with hyper acidity pineapple is not good for you. It is a fiber food but because of its acidity it triggers a pang soreness in your stomach that leads to acid reflux. How I love that kind of fruit.

In time of disaster, troubles, calamities like magnitude earthquakes and now pandemic people remembers God. Change their way of life, turn away the evil doings and try to be a good samaritan. After the chaos and when peace and healing sets in people tend to forget and go back their old lives before. The reason "just Homo Sapien."

At this time of covid wherein wearing a mask is a must there are kinds of mask created. But the most I like best to wear is the KN95 even though sometimes I can't hardly breath because I am confident it protects and it is washable whereby creating less trash.

Meaningless A life without a purpose is meaningless. We were created, given a life in this world with a certain purpose. That purpose is the meaning of our existence. A song without its lyrics, melody and a singer is meaningless. It must have a content, notes for a melody and a singer to interpret the song. A sport is meaningless without players, coaches and referees. How will you know the kind of sport without players to demonstrate, coaches to teach and referees to facilitate. A food is meaningless without a mouth to taste its sweetness, soreness and bitterness. Without eaters it is useless and became trash. A medicine is meaningless without an illness. It is formulated to combat dreadful diseases like pandemic. Doctors are meaningless without patients. How could they be called doctors if there's no patient to treat, and Love is meaningless without two persons falling in love. One person cannot interpret its meaning alone. There must be an interaction with two individuals, reciprocating the feeling with each other.

If something you ask from God is not given don't be discourage, just say thank you and Your will be done. He knows what is best for you and the right time has yet to come.

Question of Existence As a child when alone many question pop-up in my mind. Even on that delicate stage I ask my big brother why are we here. The answer is that God made us, and who is God, and so on and so forth question that my brother get irritated for he is studying telling me to shot up. That question crop-up in high school asking our nun teacher why God made us. Hoping for a concrete answer for she's serving God. She answered: To serve the Lord Almighty. Follow-up question: How to serve the Lord? She answered: Obey His Ten commandments, read the bible and follow His words, His footsteps the tools in following the right path. Then, why we are here if that is the reason of our existence. Why not joined directly into your congregation, in your vocation of serving God. She said it is a vocation that many are called but few are chosen. At that time I did not fully comprehend of those lines. Today, I still ask why do bad people creating chaos, initiating war, inflicting pains, distracting the universe exist. Why they immerse in peaceful community on the process displacing people and ruin the children's future. Why do they exist when they are not serving the Lord.

Boost in the Immune System With the on set of the pandemic a lock down was imposed and citizens were not allowed to go out making us frightened especially the cases skyrocketed. To calm myself and my family to that deadly virus we boost our immune system. Supplements: Vitamin c with zinc, multivitamins with minerals and those supplements with omega 3 and 5. Foods: Fresh fruit and vegetables like the leafy vegetables which could be pick in our backyard. With fruits so costly but we have to. Exercise: We do little cardio with our stationary bike, walk on stairs, two sets of leg raise and crunch, stretching and sneak out to play badminton with playmate. Relax: Watching videos and tv programs but not focusing on news regarding virus because it makes us paranoid. Go to bed early and have a good sound sleep. Praying for healing. Other remedies and precaution: Steam inhalation when experience itchy or sore throat, on dry cough coupled with cough syrup, more water and herbs like turmeric and ginger. I think all these have a great help, others won't believe on alternative medicines but there's no harm in trying and believing.

Distant relationship makes the heart fonder. No it's not, distance makes the heart forget. Even those who are not apart tend to forget that they were taken when the eyes capture a new and captivating one.
