Never let the Odds make you feel down, you do what you meant to! *Back then, society used to think doing what doesn't fit in social 'terms' is similar to doing nothing. Can you remember, how people used to laugh at the young ones who enrolled themselves in computer science? Or about 10 years ago, no one took pro gamers seriously.* It's because we used to believe what does not fit in our dictionary is worthless. Another reason is our lack of long-term anticipation. Whether the reason is, not let4the odds around us make us feel down is the biggest challenge, no?
img https://unsplash.com/photos/WujcyN2ojvo Didn't people use to think doing music, painting, writing, or any creative work is something less worthy than a real gular job? Many praise themselves but deep inside still feel like creative people are doing something valueless, right? I don't know about you but from my experience, this is what I found. Let me give you my example. *Being a freelancer for over 5 years, I get so much negative feedback from the society. There was always pressure on me and still, it's going to take a regular job, do what my cousins and other family members are doing ie. They said (and still say) I don't add any value to society, all my academic education was a waste of time, money, and effort blah blah blah. I don't get bothered by this coz I know my worth.*
img https://unsplash.com/photos/GiIZSko7Guk People see my money but still think the same. My money doesn't shift their thought process nor it will. They feel pity for me saying, what a waste of intellect! I remind myself, what if I stopped doing this what society tagged as **odd**? I would be unemployed, I would probably feel less worthy, financially less independant, and so on. That's why I came to realize, it's okay to keep your *odds* but don't let the odds around you let you down. If you like to do something extraordinary, some habits that make you happy then keep doing it. Who knows, maybe that's your spark, without having that in your life you would be a different person. Even if you are doing something so-called *regular*, people still gonna judge you, right? So it's better to just keep doing what you do if that doesn't harm anyone. While discussing this with one of my friends, she told me what if someone uses your words to validate their bad instinct like doing drugs or something like this. I replied to her, we are not children and we must know the consequences of our actions and exactly what I'm talking about. I was feeling down for some reason for the past few days. This is what I kept reminding myself and it helped!

Never let that things down you ,keep stronger and brave ,remember yiurself really needs you most.🤗
That's what I too believe. We need ourselves the most and should know our worth. Thanks for sharing your opinion.
In life people tend to mitigate what they don't understand. And in so doing, they have failed to recognise the beauty in people gifted with talents. Regardless, we should learn to shut out discouraging words and move forward to actualising our full potential.
I totally agree with you. It's so very necessary to leave behind what we don't agree on and move forward by shutting them out. Knowing our worth and doing things accordingly is the biggest thing. Thanks for putting your thoughts in.
