Mixed puffed rice - Flavors of Bangladeshi Street food. *Jhalmuri/Mixed puffed rice is one of the popular street food around Bangladesh. It's cheap but mouthwatering. There are hundreds of ways to make this. Puffed rice doesn't contain much flavor. So the taste depends on what we put on them.*

The mixture usually is made out of puffed rice, chili, onion, mint, coriander, chanachir (another spicy local snack), chickpea, mustard oil, and more. It's so flavourful and mouthwatering, that no 'Deshi'/locals can skip the temptation of having Jhalmuri. *Mostly this food is available on every corner of the street, in busy places, in front of schools and offices like everywhere. But there are recently some growing food carts/stalls where you can find the more hygienic versions. Not only that they also offer different types of mixture for example chicken or egg which is not available on the street.* I recently tried it in a nearby mall. The stall looks so tempting like how they were serving on a clay-made bowl, I thought to give it a try.

The owner is making the puffed rice mixture. There are some spice blows in front of him and puffed rice inside the huge bowl. Also, they got chicken, egg, duck meat, and more option in other bowls. Every order is freshly made as puffed rice gets soggy too quickly. *Sorry for my reflection on the glass.* This is the stall, it's not huge but very popular around this place. One bowl full of Jhalmuri only costs $0.30-$1.5. That's how cheap it is. I was quite surprised by the flavourful taste of my bowl. Because usually what we get from the street tastes a bit flat then this. But this place probably serves the best thing, I can tell by the taste.

Isn't it look delicious? *Jhalmuri is nothing fancy. But the mouthful taste of it works as a mood booster. The fresh mint and spicy flavor were enough to make my day.* I wish to try it again soon.
