The water doesn’t get warmer if you wait to jump. You can stand at the edge for as long as you want, overthinking every possible outcome, waiting for the fear to quiet down or for the timing to finally feel right. But the truth is, it rarely does. The hesitation doesn’t make it easier, it just makes you stay stuck longer, watching life move while you stay where it’s safe. Sometimes, growth asks you to be uncomfortable first. Sometimes, the only way to find out you’ll be okay is to take the risk anyway. So stop waiting for perfect conditions that may never come. Jump scared, jump unsure, but jump knowing that staying where you are won’t change anything.
