Let this be my last for 2025 and first for 2026 post about HOARDING FUNDS. 😁 Most of you are familiar na with this list but not with hoarding funds. Baka kasi akala ng ating mga bagong followers e nambubudol lang ako hehehe. So here's a reason why I do this. ☺️ I started having HF out of my grocery budget. Sa kaka-compare ko ng price ng big packs vs. tingi tingi - dun ko nakita how much you really save on bulk buying esp refill packs. (Less trash pa). Hindi ko pa nadi-discover ang online shopping noon kaya grocery lang ang basis ko ng prices. Dahil tight nga ang budget noon, nag simula ako paisa-isa. Twice a month kasi ang sweldo, kaya twice a month din ang grocery. Sa unang payday, I'd buy 1 gallon of soy sauce which could last us ng 6 months or more. So sa loob ng 6 mos ay hindi ako bibili. Sa susunod na sweldo ay yung pinakamalaking pack naman ng detergent that could last a few months din. After doing this for about 3 or 4 months, napansin ko medyo bumababa yung grocery bill ko. May natitirang 500, minsan 200 o 300. When pandemic came, medyo steady na yung HF ko - which is yung ipon ko out of the grocery budget. Dyan ko na-discover ang online shopping apps. My first purchase was about a dozen of Purefoods corned beef. Ang consumption namin ng de-lata ay nasa 1-2x per month so matagal na sa amin yung 1 dozen. Nung na-compare ko sya sa grocery, nasa 160-170 per piece, pero yung nabili ko online nasa 120+ lang. That's when I started having a fixed schedule ng bibilhin tuwing payday sale. Like January, I'd buy few bundles ng detergent. Then Feb, fabcon naman. March toiletries. And so on. Pagdating ng June, full stock na ang pantry ko kaya dko na nagagastos yung HF at naiipon na until the time na I need to re-stock. Habang nakakaipon ng HF, e naging consistent na yung grocery bill ko na 4k-5k per month na lang. Madalas may kasama pang meat yan. Kaya tuwing payday sale ay nakikita nyo itong listahan ko dahil ito rin yung checklist ko kung alin ang kailangan ko na i-re stock. So masanay na kayo if I always post the same list every single payday sale or double digit sale. 😁 But this is just me. I'm just sharing in case effective din sa inyo. ☺️
