One question that occupied my mind after I took my graduation picture was, “What’s next?” It’s a different kind of distress — not knowing the next step. The road suddenly feels unfamiliar, and the directions become unclear. And just like that, you find yourself wishing you could go back to being a student. In the blink of an eye, you don’t know how to celebrate your wins — or how to react to them. There’s an uncomfortable silence that follows, right after you finally take that graduation photo. Maybe it’s because you truly don’t know what to do next— or maybe, you do and you just needed time to figure it out.
