Some people love awkwardly. Some people don’t know how to say the right thing, and often say the wrong one, but that doesn’t mean their love is unsure. Love can look like unfinished sentences, nervous laughter, or messages typed and deleted a hundred times. Love can be checking in without knowing how to continue the conversation, or going quiet when emotions get too loud. Some people will stand too far when they should come closer, and come too close when they should step back. Some won’t know how to comfort you, but will stay anyway, even in silence. Some will struggle to express care, yet remember the smallest details, replay your words in their head, and worry about you more than they admit. Some people love awkwardly.
