Do you ever feel like you have to endure everything on your own because you don’t want to be a burden? 😔 Maybe you’re trying to pretend everything’s okay. You go to work, do what’s expected, and carry so much silently because asking for help feels risky. You worry people might think you’re weak, or that your problems are too small, too heavy, or simply not worth sharing. So you tell yourself, “Kaya ko pa. I’ll handle it. I always do.” For some, it’s also hard to even see the people who care. When life has been difficult for a long time, support can feel so out of reach. You might feel like you’re on your own, even in a room full of people. If that’s you, this isn’t a failure. It’s a very human response to being tired, overwhelmed, and hurt. Here’s something we forget when life feels heavy: you are cared for more than you realize. There are people who don’t see you and your problems as a burden— they see you as someone they want to show up and care for. They don’t want you to struggle alone. They want to help, even if you don’t always see it right now. 🫂 And if you’re not ready to ask for help yet, that’s okay too. You don’t have to force yourself. You don’t have to rush your healing. This Love Month, remember that love isn’t only romantic. Sometimes, love looks like asking for support, letting someone listen, or even finally admitting, “I’m tired.” You were never meant to carry heavy things by yourself. You don’t have to endure on your own. 🫶
