“By 30, I should already have my own house.” That’s what I used to believe. Growing up, I thought every age should come with a major milestone. At 25, I should be a manager. At 28, I should own a car. At 30, I should already have my own house and lot. But life doesn’t always follow our plans — or society’s timeline. Sometimes, no matter how hard you work, things don’t go the way you hoped. Sometimes, there’s a delay. Sometimes, life takes you somewhere unexpected. And that’s okay. Success isn’t always loud or grand. Sometimes, it’s in the quiet growth no one claps for — In embracing what you cannot control, In choosing to rise again, In waiting with hope, even in uncertainty. If life looks different from what you imagined by now, that’s okay. You’re not falling behind — You’re simply taking a different route. 🌿
