Can we all agree that incompatibility is a valid reason for breakup? Like, even if you two stayed in a relationship yet one feels empty, it won’t work. It takes two to tango. The movie showed a lot of differences and even indifferences between Ellie and Eric. Their backgrounds. Their mindset. Their political beliefs. Their marriage beliefs. And nobody noticed both weren’t ready to be in a relationship. Ellie lacks self-awareness; she doesn’t even know what she wants. And Eric, does he even know Ellie’s favorite color? Let this be a wakeup call to take time knowing yourself first and knowing the other person on a deeper level before entering a relationship.
