There are days when you simply don’t feel like talking to anyone—not even your closest friends or family. You might avoid conversations in person, on the phone, through messages, or even on social media. It’s not because you don’t care, and it’s not necessarily because you’re in a bad mood. Sometimes, your mind and body just long for silence and inner peace. There are moments when your soul craves solitude, giving you space to reflect and sort through your thoughts. And if you find yourself pulling away or needing distance, it doesn’t make you a bad or unkind person. It simply makes you human. It’s okay to have days when you break down, when you need quiet, when you choose yourself. You don’t owe anyone an explanation for honoring what your soul truly needs.
