In life, you’ll meet many people who will walk beside you— but not everyone will pause when you need a moment to catch your breath. We all have our circle of friends— those we talk with, laugh with, walk with, or share a meal with. But among them, I hope you find the ones who don’t mind slowing down when you fall behind. The ones who notice when your laces come undone— and wait while you stop to fix them. Choose the people who stay not just when it’s fun or easy, but when life asks for patience and understanding. The ones who don’t rush ahead, who don’t make you feel like you’re a step too slow, but instead remind you that walking together matters more than getting there first. Among all the people you meet, talk with, hang out with, eat with, or walk with— I hope you find someone who will wait for you when you tie your shoes.
