Ivana Alawi is setting a different standard for what vloggers should be. Together with Sassa Gurl, she visited Kuya Edwin, a farmer who lost his right leg in an accident. After four months of hard labor, he earns only ₱5,000. That is about ₱41 a day. Today, his child is also in the hospital. But like many fathers, Kuya Edwin keeps going, holding on to hope even when life gets harder. Ivana did more than give help. She used her platform to show the life most people ignore. The life of farmers who spend long days under the burning sun. Who break their backs planting and harvesting, only to earn barely enough to survive. Who live with uncertainty every day, never knowing if the next typhoon, drought, or flood will wipe out everything they worked for. They are the ones who keep food on our tables, yet are often left struggling to feed their own families. They could be your father. Your mother. Someone you love, just trying to provide and survive. Farmers are not just workers. They are the backbone of this country. They are the hands that feed us, even when they have almost nothing left for themselves. No farmers, no food. No farmers, no future. And hopefully, one day, the government will finally fight for them the way they have always fought for us.
