Laughter, Music, and Goodbyes

*(First, we ate our dinner together with these foods🤤)* Last night felt different. Not in a sad way—well, maybe a little—but in that bittersweet way when you know something is about to change. One of our dearest friends is leaving the Philippines soon to work abroad, chasing a better life for her family. We’ve always known she’s strong and selfless, but now it’s really sinking in: she’s about to start a whole new chapter, far from home.

*(Watched a movie)* So we did what we do best—we spent the whole night together. No fancy plans, no big events. Just us, hanging out until the sun almost caught us. We sang our hearts out, even the off-key parts (which was most of it). We laughed until our stomachs hurt, replaying old memories and teasing each other like no time had passed.

*(Karaoke, of course lol)* Somewhere in between the music and the laughter, the conversations turned deeper. We talked about life, about dreams, about the things we’re afraid to say out loud most days. And in those moments, I realized—it doesn’t matter how far she goes or how long she’s away. Nights like this will always live in our hearts.

*(Got drunk until morning🤪)* We’ll miss her like crazy, but we’re also cheering for her every step of the way. Because that’s what friends do—we hold each other close, even when life asks us to let go a little. Here’s to you, our brave friend. May your journey be as bright as the morning we stayed up to see.
