I didn’t know there’s so much laughter in love. I didn’t know it’s possible to dance in pajamas in the parking lot when the original plan was to grab midnight snacks. To play tag under the rain in matching crocs. To watch a horror film under a tent that glows in fairy lights and smells like pizza. I didn’t know you could dip nachos in black coffee and laugh at someone’s reaction when you place it in their mouth. To watch that person’s imaginary fast talk in the kitchen, listen to them have a full album launch in the shower. To have a mini salon session at midnight and laugh at how early both of you would be fired if you pursued it as a full-time job. I didn’t know it’s possible to drown in someone’s laughter, to taste it in your own mouth. I didn’t know one could spend so much time giggling at even the silliest things. So this is how love should feel like. What have I been doing all this time?
