My 1st Funrun: Running my own pace You know how I’ve been saying *“One day, I’ll try joining a fun run”* for the longest time? Well, guess what—I finally did it! And it happened at *Takbo Babae 2025*.

Picture this: it’s still dark, the air is cool, and I’m standing there at the starting line surrounded by hundreds of women in bright running shirts. Some looked like they’ve been training for marathons their whole lives—stretching, bouncing, looking all professional. Meanwhile, I was quietly fixing my ponytail for the third time and making sure my shoelaces wouldn’t betray me mid-run.

Then the horn blew. Oh my gosh, the energy! Everyone started running, some like they were in a movie montage. I almost got carried away by the crowd, but I told myself, *“Relax, this is YOUR run, not theirs.”* So I kept my own rhythm, breathing in the morning air, hearing the sound of footsteps and cheers blending like background music. I saw people smiling, some waving at the photographers, others sharing water and high-fives with total strangers. It was this beautiful mix of competition and community.

And then… the finish line appeared. I wasn’t the fastest (not even close, trust me), but the moment my feet crossed that line, I felt like I just won something way bigger than a medal. I was proud—not because I ran far, but because I ran *my* pace, my way.

So yeah, *Takbo Babae 2025* wasn’t just a run—it was a little life lesson disguised as 5 kilometers of sweat and smiles.
