NEVER NEVER NEVER turn off your touchpad on your laptop. I dont know if it is because I am left handed but my computer goes crazy when I am writing. The page expands and contracts all over the place randomly (funnily enough it does actions which in another context could be quite useful but I never seem to be able to do them deliberately when I try) and also other things randomly open such as Save As... So I thought - "I'll turn it off while i am writing' BAD MISTAKE ON MY HP laptop There is no FUNCTION ON / OFF on my computer so I had to turn it off through settings and then I was ****ed! Searching internet for keyboard solution and found many times 'press upper left of touchpad' - well i disabled it d'oh Thankfully a while later MamaRah told me that my father in law has an external mouse with him. Plugged it in and re-enabled but reduced sensitivity. So thus far I have only produced 700 words and they are only part of the lead in to the two difficult chapters. The landing pad has to be prepared for the chapters to work out properly So NEVER NEVER NEVER turn off your touchpad
