Just putting this out there. What are the community's feelings about why investing in Crypto? Two points to discuss, but feel free to add to the discussion. - Tax evasion - removing the relative monopoly that banks have on our fiat funds by giving us an alternative. In my opinion taxes are frustrating and annoying, but so long as they are not extortionate we should be prepared to submit to the relevant authorities as they pay for among other things, heath (in the UK) , education and emergency services so in that sense I don't begrudge paying my part. However what I do object to his banks taking extortionate amounts in fees. I am a purist when it comes to retail banking - it should be free for all but some how the banks find ways to add charges. In principle this is similar to when budget airlines used to ramp up ticket costs away from the headline price. Regulation brought change and banks need to change or die ... because crypto is the alternative
