So after yesterday's fake "Coinbase" email (is it a coincidence that i am having probs with CB today?) here is a summary of danger signs to look out for. -Bad grammar and bad spelling -Shortened forms (eg we've) are considered informal and unacceptable in such emails -email address - where it was sent from -destination for any links - hover to see where it goes. -knowledge gaps - do they seem to know what they are talking about. -context, did you experience an issue are you expecting an email (eg I did a password reset today but got the email to do so ONLY AFTER I REQUESTED IT) All of these flags were raised in the fake email I shared yesterday
