It is hard to believe that 25 years ago this week I was in the north western Romanian town of Zalau helping a team give Christmas presents to Orphans of the Communist regime. That is almost half a lifetime ago for me (turning 50 very very soon). Short and busy visit and well worthwhile. And I vouch that Transylvania really is misty and with a mysterious ambiance about it - or was it just that it was early winter?

On the occasion of such joys, we should all share the joys of the helpless and the helpless together. A little help from us can bring joy in their lives and bring smiles on their faces.
