I dont know how it is with other children, but over the last few days BabyRah has started showing some generosity of character in that he has started sharing his toys and even some of his food with us. Like I said I dont really know how this stands but as an only child who is still (just) less than a year old I am super impressed with him. He has been kissing us back for a little while and in the last few days he has been coming for kisses. He has far from perfected it though because he comes open mouthed - a skill he shouldnt develop until he is at least a teenager lol
