A little further explanation to an answer I posted earlier Many of you have noticed that I am trying to be active in support of the Ukrainian cause and yet I have not added the Ukrainian flag to my Facebook profile picture because I too feel like I am abandoning them and not deserving to display their flag - a proud flag. I saw a similar fighter / warrior mentality among the Kosovo Albanians when I was there - the difference was that there and then I was able to at least make a bit of a difference. Speeches and sanctions might tip the balance, but there is little I can do so that is why I am not flying the Ukrainian flag. Please note this is not a criticism of those who do. Solidarilty is better than nothing, but somehow I feel I am letting them down, even if the truth is I am powerless to do anything but POST POST POST.
