Weaning isn't so easy. Maybe we left it too long, but we wanted Toddl-Rah to have as much protection as he could from Covid, which means through the milk. Part of the issue is that he nurses to fall asleep at night and they say the longer you leave it the harder it gets. Well on Sunday we made a start on what we have needed to do for a while. Mixed results on the whole but we have managed to get him down without nursing. What did surprise us was how angry he got with MamaRah because in his mind he was being denied something that is his. I expected the tantrum, but not that. Anyway we are now three nights in and i know it will take a little while for him to adjust and in the mean time we need to stay strong. We have started so we have to see it through
