Something i have never figured out is the European obsession with round plugs. They are difficult to align ahd plug in especially if in a rush. Not the brightest invention in the world. Give me a good old British plug (which may admittedly be over-engineered but consequently safer) that is clear and obvious and not only can you see the earth contact clearly when plugging in but it is the only one that needs aligning.

Today marks 8 years since I married the woman who is the centre of my life - namely MamaRah. Three years ago after something went tragically wrong and she nearly died she came back home on our anniversary so today has been much quieter but wholly devoted to time for us.. Eight years of incredible highs to go along with the difficult times too.

Weaning isn't so easy. Maybe we left it too long, but we wanted Toddl-Rah to have as much protection as he could from Covid, which means through the milk. Part of the issue is that he nurses to fall asleep at night and they say the longer you leave it the harder it gets. Well on Sunday we made a start on what we have needed to do for a while. Mixed results on the whole but we have managed to get him down without nursing. What did surprise us was how angry he got with MamaRah…

Toddle-Rah went to sleep last night in just TEN minutes and slept for TEN hours with only one small period of waking. Best one yet. I remember describing previous downturns as a bloodbath, but this is getting ridiculous and now Celsius have effectively suspended trading unless you want to load with more assets. According to an article on Quora Putin is eyeing up Kazakhstan because it is proving not be too cooperative with Russia and in fact in many ways is working against them. Managed another 1550 words today for book 3, things are definitely better when Toddl-Rah sleeps better at night. Really wondering how tonight will work out, after such a good night last night htere is always some kind of payback. Had a lovely walk with Toddl-Rah this morning and them some play time in the local play park. Got to meet a couple of mothers with similar aged children. Obviously I am not doing anything wrong nor would I, but Hollywood does seem to have got it right when it seemed that every father on his own is a magnet to other women and especially mothers lol. Most difficult night in two weeks with Toddl-Rah. he took an hour to settle - although at least that was tantrum free - and then he was waking every hour or so. I am expecting some regressions in the light of recent progress but maybe we will delay tonight's plan for MamaRah to be in with us when he goes down

Market showing some nice steady signs that it is stablising as corrections flatten out with a bit of upturn. Three consecutive days now! Maybe my prediction yesterday was right. Early days though so lets see what happens next.

So we've decided to go for it. MamaRah is going to join me in putting Toddl-Rah down tonight without nursing. First attempt lets see how it works out for us. The thing is we both need to be able to do it and it is easier for me because I am not equipped to nurse him - whereas MamaRah is and he knows all about it!

Took an hour, but on the whole successful with MamaRah onboard. Although she was passivly just in the room while I still did what I have been doing recently. She will gradually do more until we can both put him down in a no fuss way. Let's just hope that unlike last night he gets through the night with minimal waking ups. That is the real challenge.

So with my return to favour with Noise Cash and the ability to tip again I have now achieved 3 BCH free thanks to the generosity of my fellow Noisers. With me being in Noise prison for about 7 months it took that amount of time to acquire the last 0.1 BCH with 0.03 BCH being in the last few days. just found out my uncle died yesterday, exactly 30 years to the day after my granddad (his father) died which in turn was almost exactly six months after my mum died (at Christmas 1991) Sad times and because of possible surgery and our own self imposed Covid lockdown (to protect Toddl-Rah) it is unlikely I will make the funeral

Big regression from Toddl-Rah last night.. got him down about 9 but he was quite unsettled until about midnight (= no sleep for me) and the woke up at 1.30 and 3.30 and 6.00 and now i am up.
