One of my face book friends posted the following today and here is my response. (look at image) "Disgusting! Maybe it is technology that is facilitating this along with a mistaken sense of anonymity, but it seems to me that in this day and age things are worse than when we were younger. In many ways there is more openness and willingness to talk about #metoo types of issues but on the other hand the behaviour of some men seems to be getting worse. And we are supposed to be more enlightened nowadays. Maybe it was closseted, but I would never, even when I was younger, have dreamt of saying or messaging such a thing and hand on my heart I can't imagine any of my male friends doing it either. It also seems to be something that subsequent generations - who had first gen mobile devices - weren't doing either. There is something sick at the heart of society. Maybe I am just a naive WOKE. I wrote a piece on my website about the whole #metoo thing and the need for everybody to take responsibility, for men to simply leave women alone and with a good dose of common sense for women not to be conformed into 'protective behaviours' while men's 'aggressive behaviours are not addressed."
