Ok so here goes. I was in Ghana and I had a really bad tooth that later had to be extracted and the Lonely Planet guide did say that. I must stress however that this was in 1993 and I was in the small provincial town of Koforidua. The professionalism of the dentist was undoubted but the facilities were very basic. @cryptozeug called the Sahara correctly,. I was there and at some point we stopped for some refreshments. There was no water but we must remember ALWAYS Coca-Cola and that is what we had. In 1983 when I was a child growing up in ENGLAND I was involved in a serious car crash that involved our car leaving the road and rolling over onto its roof before rolling back onto its wheels. We were all practically unhurt but had the car rolled one more time and i would not be noising because when the car came to a rest (it was before seatbelt laws) was half way out of the rear window. In 1996 while working in ALBANIA I was a passenger in an Izuzu Trooper that left the road and landed in a ditch to be brought to a stop by some kind of concrete post. While the vehicle was fitted with seatbelts I wasnt wearing it because we were only going about 200 metres between houses. I flew forward and hit my head on the windscreen and it cracked but fortunately we weren't going fast enough for me to go through it - although I do remember having a stonking headache for the rest of the day - there is a lot more to this story maybe one day on Noise or P0x. In early 2020, before Covid I was traveling with my family between Lodz and Warsaw in POLAND and when we were almost home we needed to turn left and stopped to let a car though that was coming our way. The next thing we knew was another car slammed into our back. Most were unhurt but I have got a damaged neck anyway and i added whiplash to it too. So England, Albania and Poland And remember always Coca-Cola (although I prefer Pepsi personally)
