the more challenging a child gets the more I gain greater respect for single parents (for whatever reason). It is tough at times with two - i dread to imagine what it is like with one.

  Fortunately we are solid but many years ago I dated a single mother and so I saw the pressures that come about. And her situation was very complicated and even more for the kids.

      and that is how I know @Kathrynmcgrath - she is one of the daughters and I am blessed that all the kids are still in contact with me - even now they are all grown up.
