Something that really frustrates me is that NATO used the 1999 massacre at Racak to intervene directly in Kosovo. I am not demeaning nor disrespecting the 45 civilians that the Serbs slaughtered on that day, but how many more must die in Ukraine before NATO take a more direct hand? Or is it because we are afraid of Putin and his nukes? Well maybe if we stand up to him he will back off or his people will kick him out for being a nutjob. And if I am wrong he was always going to do it anyway. Next week, next month, next year.

Well if NATO would retaliate due to an attack of a Non-NATO member this would cause many more casualties than the current Ukrainian casualties, and I think that was very different in the Kosovo example. I think NATO is playing it close to the edge by supporting Ukraine without going over it and unleashing an ever bigger monster.
I think the war would be more bloody and more people would die. Yeah the nukes are there. The west is just trying to play safe with the whole world and people's lives.
