Rice Field

Beside building the coop for our chickens project. I also tending to our farm.

This is our rice field. Every year, in the start of rainy season ( June ) we are planting rice. This year, I decided to reduced the cost in production because the price of paddy rice us declining. So, this time I opt to dry seeding method in which the rice seeds is broadcast to a dry land and only germinate after a heavy rain. This method can reduce 15 up to 30% of production cost.
