Home improvements What do you do when you find yourself in such a situation? Immediately you'll say "I'm going to the store and buying new cabinet door knobs," and of course I'll respond that way. However, there is a new problem. These doors and all kitchen equipment like cabinets were already made about 10 years ago and apparently the manufacturers have changed something in the manufacture of handles and now their spacing is different. https://ecency.com/hive-153850/@projectmamabg/creative-sunday-home-improvements

I like the colors of the fall. There are so many different leaves all around us. But now I feel sad because most of the flowers will fade and will die. Those flowers are some from the last "alive" outdoors. I am happy that I've found them!

Crafty Mommy #2 - A penguin story Hello, today I want to share with you an amazing toy - Amigurumi. It is one of the first things I made and it gave me the desire to create more and more. I made it with the great desire that it would become the first gift of my nephew, who was going to be born in England - and I am in Bulgaria. I started knitting quickly. It wasn't easy because I wasn't sure exactly how to hold the hook and I was getting finger injuries. But each successive completed row of knitting showed how beautiful something would turn out. After finishing the toy, I took a few pictures to keep as a memento of the first thing I personally made with my own hands. I can't describe my joy when I finished it. We sent it off to the in-laws in England when they were coming home. They told me how delighted the pregnant mother was. They told us how she had carefully put the toy at a visible place where everybody can see it in plain sight awaiting the arrival of the little boy - Theodor!

Crafty Mommy #1 - Treasure bag It's easy to take up a new hobby. In my mind, the thought has always been that if one doesn't learn, or if one doesn't make some attempt to learn something new, one dies. His mind dies, his thinking dies and he is left with an existence just due to working, eating and going to sleep. And the next day everything is repeated. More than a year ago I managed to find my hobby. It helps me to feel good, to separate myself for a moment from the troubles and difficulties of raising a child - my son. Thanks to my sister, who showed me how to hold the crochet hook, today I can boast that without any problem I knit amigurumi and various accessories and jewelry, even children's clothes. Today I would like to introduce you to a project with which I wanted to test how to combine yarns of different thicknesses. The result was a purse that I still use today. The interesting thing about it is that it has a secret compartment, and if you don't know about it or haven't seen the purse being made, you can't find it. I started by making the base out of pink. To make the secret compartment, I knitted a lid and sewed it on. Then I started knitting with the thinner yarn in purple. Since this project had no pattern or sketch to go by there was a lot of unraveling and shaping to get this done. Once I got to a gauge length I thought there should still be some sort of cast on option. So I knitted a few stitches that were higher. I added a satin ribbon in those remaining stitches. The project was finished after I made decorative rows so that when tied it would look like a flower. The difference in weight of the two yarns helps the purse stand upright without falling down. *All images in the article were photographed by me*

The price that we all pay As much as it may not ring true to you we are all walking wallets. We pay for goods and services we need on a daily basis - that's normal, but in our relationships with people we are also wallets because we invest "money" - time and emotions to maintain a friendship. We give this "money" to our loved ones - it is not measured in the money we all know, it is measured in a much more expensive currency - time. It's no secret that we each have an allotted time on this earth, so how we spend it is important. Whether we allow the negative people to take over and drag us down into the darkness and coldness of hate, malice and outright dislike of those who have good things happen to them. Everyone knows at least one such friend, and no wonder you have such a relative who is constantly talking about bad things, how unfair life is to him/her, how many bad things happen to him/her, and is he/she doing anything positive? The easiest and stupidest thing is to greet a stranger. It's easy, a simple "hello" or "have a good day" changes not only that day but the other person's day - they will smile, respond to your greeting or just nod but the positive energy you send with that greeting will change their day. Don't strive to be friends with everyone. There is no point. Be friends with yourself first so you don't pay the high price of disappointment.

The beauty of Plovdiv Hello, I want to show you the beauty of a small town in the city. Plovdiv is famous for having preserved artifacts and monuments from Roman times. Some of them have been excavated and can be seen by visitors to the city, while others have remained undiscovered, as many buildings have to be demolished in order to find the finds there. I had the opportunity to visit this city and in particular the Old Town of Plovdiv. One of the most exciting places was the visit to Kapana - it is a small town in the Old Town of Plovdiv called the town of craftsmen. There you can witness how different household items are built, buy something with a design from centuries ago, and enjoy modern and innovative cuisine, but at the same time old dishes with which our ancestors used to feast. I was impressed by the architecture and how even with restoration they managed to preserve the spirit of the old town. Each building has multiple small windows on its facade. Many of the houses - now hotels - have stone walls and many decorations made of wood. They have kept the shapes of the windows and doors. Yes, they didn't all look new and polished, but that doesn't change the beauty of the woodwork. Almost all the doors I walked past were solid wood - huge doors. I also liked that they kept the pavement on the road. Everywhere they put stone slabs or pavers which enhanced the effect of the beauty of the buildings. I hope you enjoyed my little walk around Plovdiv. If you are a traveler and looking for new adventures I recommend you to add this city to your list of places to visit. You will love it! I promise!

The sad story of a mother Hi, I want to tell you a little more about a sad situation in my life. I was without a phone again. After my son played with it yesterday, he decided he needed to give it water. Since he eats and drinks water that means the phone eats and drinks water too. After that watering, nothing but a book divider comes out of the phone anymore. Yesterday it was blinking and today it doesn't do that anymore either. Even the well-known technique of putting the phone in rice did not help. I'm sad I can't describe how sad I am. Another money was thrown away just like that for 10 minutes. The sad thing is that I need my phone for work too, not just entertainment, which means I'll now have to buy a new one, which is straining the family budget. I started looking into what phone to buy because in the 21st first century when most people's money like me is in their online wallets it's not like you can be without a phone. I found I mean, I "copied" my better half's phone. Because his phone is one of those that are forever. Shockproof, waterproof, dustproof and weighing close to 400 grams. Apparently, I'm all for such a phone even if I don't do hard physical labor. I liked my current phone. Its screen was a bit big for my hand but it was comfortable. Now I will have to be with this monster as long as I can raise the money for it in a few days. The pictures of the phone are from EMAG, the official seller of the phone in Bulgaria, and the first two pictures are from Canva's image database

Even if Bulgaria is not at war the situation looks like an apocalypse. In the last few days I have started looking at what products we need to buy for our weekly shopping - we also have products we buy once a month. The situation is deplorable. The prices are so very high, in just 10 days since the Russia Ukraine conflict came to our country we have started a mass buying of basic products such as flour, oil, sugar and fuel for the cars. Many people, perhaps prompted by the fact that the shops will run out of goods, have started to stock up again. March 2020 everyone on social media was laughing about how there were people who were buying abnormal amounts of toilet paper because Bulgaria was entering a lockdown set by COVID now the situation is repeating itself. Interestingly, consumers are sharing that fights and disputes are expected over a daily promotion in a large hypermarket in which they are putting sunflower oil at 2.99 as the normal price of this product currently ranges from 5.50 to 7 leva ( $4 - $6). At home, we have never overstocked with too much produce, but we keep a decent amount for at least a week ahead. However, we don't know if the car we drive to the store (about 10 km away) will be in for repairs and we'll miss our weekly shopping trip. On the other hand, because of the various restrictions that Russia has made on European countries, and conversely the European Union has made on Russia, there is an incredible rise in fuels such as 95 petrol and diesel at the moment. In these 10-15 days the price has risen from approximately 2.2 leva to 3+ leva. Again, various pictures have been showing up on social media showing people filling their cars to the top with fuel, then proceeding with tubes, large 10 liter water bottles, cans or whatever plastic containers they had. Of course all this came at a high price - when the gas stations realized the war had started they raised their prices. These same gas stations made their mega profit. Because in reality they were selling the fuel they bought at a low price and selling it at an even higher markup. I can only accept an increase in the price of fuel when the quantity that was bought at the old low price has run out, and they have raised the price of everything. This, to me, is another blow to our country's economy. The Government, in the person of our Prime Minister, has come out with the opinion that 'we have enough fuel' in the country. Their response to the bread price hike was the same - we have wheat until the 2023 harvest. Why then has the price of these commodities gone up? I am extremely sad and sick when I watch on television what is happening to the people of Ukraine. I feel powerless and hurt. But it also hurts that our country has not done much for the people who live in it for so many years. Everyone has become spiteful and greedy and trying to steal or implicate someone with loans they cannot pay back. I sincerely hope that everything with the Russia-Ukraine conflict is over soon. Let's stop killing innocent people for the sake of someone's ambition, no matter who they are. Can't we, as a people, preserve ourselves and create new and good things and not always look for the bad and the money. ... *Used Canva as Image database*

Happy international day of the woman! Today is March 8th, the day we honor the women around us. We give them more attention, love and gifts. When I was young, probably the mood in my country was influenced by the socialist regime that was in my country this day was dedicated to MOTHERS, not to women. Flowers were bought and every child brought his mother a flower and a photo taken on a card with congratulations. Not many years went by and that day was now recognized as women's day. We gave flowers and cards to our teachers, even we children gave something to each other - so that we too could feel part of the celebration of the big ones - after all, we too are future women. As a woman who has been a mother for 2 years now, this holiday took on a slightly different meaning for me. I realize that as funny as it may sound a mother needs to hear appreciation from her family members, even if it's for one day, even if it's with a simple "Happy March 8". Ours is the responsibility in creating and raising a child, we carry it for 9 months in our belly, then we are the ones who help it so it can "survive" in this "mothering" environment outside of the mother's belly. We are the ones who with a hug can soothe that child and more. We are able to alleviate the stress or pain our loved one is experiencing with just a hug and kind words. A woman is a gift! When we were little my grandparents often told us, a son is the happiness of the clan and a daughter is the happiness of another house. It sounded so rude and mean to me. Sounds to me like here you are girl, come on get out we don't care about you. As I got older I realized what they meant. They meant that the "son" would bring his wife to his parents house and she had to obey them because she was living in someone else's home. I didn't want that for myself. So I decided to be independent. It so happened that at such a time when I was independent and strong, I found my half-wife whom I love endlessly! Neither he nor I feel that a new family should live with one or the other's parents. If we want to build something new, something of our own, we have to be separate from them. This "other's happiness" has stayed with me. I don't believe in old wives tales told by grandparents, in many cases they only bring pain. That's why I don't forget that I am a WOMAN, I carry the love, care and energy to create a supportive environment for myself and my family. I am the one who effortlessly makes an apartment a home and a few simple ingredients a culinary masterpiece. Love yourself! Don't forget that you are unique, wonderful and amazing! Happy holiday girls! *The images are from Canva database!*

What is the fastest creature on earth? The answer here is very simple - it's a two year old left for 40 seconds alone in the room with a couple of pencils. I hope I've cheered you up. While it's a laugh, it's true. One of the fastest processes that takes place in the world this is the development of a child. In just a few months, he or she is able to acquire skills that as adults sometimes take us years to recover. A child in seconds learns to breathe shortly after being born. He learns to coordinate his hands and feet in the processes of playing and crawling. It learns to stack cubes and draw. To participate in conversation even if it's not with words, all in just a few months. To be able to develop our child, we need to spend enough time with him, talking to him, showing him different actions and objects. It is no secret that children given more attention by their parents in the first few years of their existence have happier lives when they grow up. Because they are taught to enjoy the things around them. Children don't need many objects/toys to be happy. They need someone to listen to them, pick them up and help them. What is the thing that makes us family? Each of us can probably call family those who are closest to him in bloodline family - mother, father, brother and sister + cousins. Yes they are part of our family, but at some point each of us starts wanting to start our own family, have our own children to raise and give them a good start in life. As the Christmas holidays approach, we prepare to meet our loved ones, give them love, attention and gifts. I'm one of those people who believe that when you give something it should carry a certain charge to be useful in a person's daily life bring emotion or bring an experience The feeling of giving and receiving gifts is very great and it brings joy to both parties. Some of the last gifts I have given are a frying pan to my parents Because they had some old ones that they were struggling with - I wanted to make their daily life easier. A handmade doll and handbag for my niece She turned 2 this year and has an interest in things older than her. I managed to knit a doll and a handbag in which I added a small set of a mirror and a comb as well as a children's necklace. my son's brother's puzzle He loves sorting and arranging all sorts of puzzles and we chose to get him one with an interesting image - his current interests are dinosaurs. My son's musical baby phone I chose to get him a musical toy as he was about to turn one and found the sounds interesting. He laughed at them and pressed the buttons with great joy. Home made dried meat fillet To my niece's father. He loves meat very much and a well done fillet was the perfect gift for him. This above and below were the gifts we gave to our relatives, come to think of it I have knocked out a lot of gifts I haven't mentioned but we are human and forget. I'll try harder for next year! This year I'm still figuring out what everyone's gifts should be, I have a little time left to prepare and deejay them, purchase and wrap them. I believe that everyone wants to receive a gift close to his or her essence, so I will try my best. *Used Canva image data base*

Diary 11/11/2021 when you go out with a little boy Dear diary, it is time to tell you what happened last day. This day was full of fun and troubles. Here in my country Black Friday started and I ordered some things for presents for the children and for us, also I was waiting to come the right hour and to make my order in Alliexpress. I've become a fan of the Alli stuff, I order the craziest things that I met from there. So, the first package had to come on 11/11 - nice ha? It came a truck for the little one. Nice. It was around 11 so we had time to go out. We haven't gotten out of the house for a week because the weather was bad. I decided to go and to buy some yarns and to make a present for my niece. She likes Mini mouse so I am going to make a present for her with a crochet Mini mouse. It was a real adventure to go to the shop. It is close, like 15 minutes when you go alone and 1 hour and 15 minutes when you do with a toddler. I had to bring that 12 kilograms boy almost to the shop because he was too shy to walk - WTF. Then the fun started. We went into the shop. He saw so many colors and balls of yarn so he wanted them all! There was a wall with boxes with different colors of yarn balls. He started picking and throwing them on the ground. The colors that he liked he put on the counter. He throws about 5 balls before I notice him. The shop assistant was searching on another wall with boxes to find my order. I put them back on the wall. Then he decided to take a walk around the shop with the shop assistant... he loves blond ladies ... all ages... from 2 to 92 - it depends how fast they run... I paid for everything and just push him to go out - you feel the hysteria, crying, and screaming right? Then we had to go and buy some bread and some stuff for his breakfast the next day... Same disaster. He knew the shop and just vanished. I found him in a pile of pasta packages, boxes of sugar and flour. Thank God for they were well packed and there were no ghosts in the shop(my son in a flour). We paid and we went home. These were the longest 2 hours in my life. I got more muscles because I was carrying him - I told you - the shy guy, I bought some yarns and... I forgot to buy the silicone filling for the toy. Well, soon we have to go again to that shop...

It is so strange to go out without your child... It passed time my boy is a year and 10 months old and it is so strange for me to go out somewhere without him. There are places not suitable for kids like in the hospital for some exams and I can't take him with me ... When I was walking .. getting out of the bus I had the feeling that I'd forgotten him on the bus ... so strange feeling...

The woman handbag - a hidden universe **Have you ever wondered what a small handbag can hold?** You would probably answer - basic things like money, phone, and keys! **The answer is much more complicated.** A handbag is an undisclosed black hole in which you can find anything from the usual - lipstick and mascara to the much stranger items like a screwdriver, nails, or even silicone tile adhesive. A lady's handbag is an object or product that is used by all members of the female sex. We carefully maintain them, we go through them every time we go shopping because we can't find the famous purse because of the thousands of things that are in our handbag. Depending on the occasion, a handbag can vary in size and material of construction, as well as varying the length of the handle and thus making it different at every moment. Colors are another topic I won't discuss at the moment. Have you ever thought about how your handbag has "evolved" over the years, you probably like me when I was a teenager had a little semblance of a handbag that held no more than 5 things, what about now? Can you tell me the approximate number of items that are in it? When children come into a woman's life the number of items grows, as does the size of the handbag itself. We start storing things in there because we go out and we might need something. For myself, I can say it's probably over 50. That includes the usual - money, phone, keys... plus more wet wipes, dry wipes, miscellaneous small carts, water, chalk, a rock, or maybe a leaf was given to me by my son to keep for later and whatnot. The list is almost endless, and yes probably thousands of biscuit crumbs, even if I clean it out every week and don't put biscuits in it or any food in it - it food in there appears by itself. No matter what kind of bag you have and how much stuff it contains, be glad there's someone to hand you the next rock or chestnut to put away! *The images have been created and taken from Canva!*

New baking story - baklava! What is the thing that reminds you of home comfort? How do you know the Christmas holidays are coming? For me it's the baklava. Probably because as little ones these baked goods are made when a holiday is coming up. Baklava itself brings only good moments in my heart, so I decided to make my family happy with it. **A friend was visiting me for an evening and we both managed to create miracles.** I searched the internet for variations of this baklava we made, but I found one just like ours. There is a double cooking moment about it. One time it's baked and a second time it's basted with boiling butter resulting in a second browning/cooking. **The ingredients we used were:** 1 packet of thin crusts (400 g) 500 g sugar 200 g ground walnuts 2 tsp cinnamon **For the syrup:** 250 g butter 1 kg sugar 1 l water vanilla **First we made the filling - we mixed the walnuts, sugar and cinnamon in a bowl.** Layering the baklava we made it 2 layers of crust, 2-3 tablespoons of filling. This continued until you ran out of filling or the height of the pan. Our baklava was supposed to make more layers, but the pan turned out very shallow. Once the filling is finished, place 2 layers without sprinkles on top. Cut into a convenient shape. We cut it into diamonds. **We baked in a preheated oven at 170-180 degrees for about 40 minutes.** Just before it was ready (golden crust) we started making the syrup. We added the sugar, vanilla and water to a saucepan. With constant stirring on low heat for about 5-6 minutes, the syrup was the perfect thickness - a little thicker than water. We then took the baklava out of the oven and put the butter to heat. And it was ready in about a minute. We use an induction cooker and things happen very quickly there. We poured the hot oil over the baklava, and you could hear it sizzling - secondary cooking, that is. And immediately after that we poured the sugar syrup over it. We covered it with baking paper and a towel to make it like a "smother" and let it stand. In the morning it was ready. You can read and check more my article in Hive blockchain and to see how I've cut the baklava. https://ecency.com/hive-120586/@projectmamabg/girls-night-or-how-we

10/15/2021 Dear diary, I haven't written in a diary since I was a teenager. This is something that I needed for that moment to self-motivate myself. Now I am starting doing it again. Today was a normal day for a mom and baby boy. We wake up early, we had some breakfast. then I had the chance to leave the little one in his bed and to drink a coffee. OH MY GOD, this was the best coffee ever! As you know dear diary, I love coffee. I love it with a teaspoon of sugar and a dash of milk. So delicious, so powerful aroma... even now when I am talking about the coffee I can feel the gorgeous smell of it. Around one hour I started preparing the lunch. I know that my boy loves eating soups so I started to prepare one. The easiest was the choice of what soup to be - I had a chicken, so the soup was chicken one. I added some chopped carrots, potatoes, onion slices. When everything was well I put some pasta in it, he doesn't like it with rice. Everything was perfect, till when the moment the little guy came and disliked my soup. He started yelling, throwing things, screaming, and crying. I understood he wanted his AM. I prepared one and gave it to him. Everything stopped. He drank it in his bed and fall asleep. This was the best moment to do something for me. At the moment I am trying to be active in Hive blockchain so I started writing there. I had the chance to publish around 2 articles when he waked up. Again hungry. I offered him Yogurt with some biscuits and he agreed! He ate 3 bows (yes they were little ones but still 3!). We went into his room and draw some pictures. He loves to draw, actually he force me to draw circles and stars and he just scratches on them but he is happy, laughing with so sparling eyes so I continue doing this. We waited for his dad to come and play with him. I left them to play and started preparing the dinner. I made some pork nuggets. We had dinner and started watching our favorite show - "The Farm". Now everybody except me is sleeping. I am ready to go to sleep as well. BB dear diary, soon I will write something more interesting to you! #diary #mommyslife #mylife #babyslife

How do I prepare my family for the autumn/winter season? I love Autumn and everything with it! This season is so amazing with all colors and changes.  We see how life dies to be reborn again in winter. The trees turn grey, the birds and animals hide in warmer places, the people in the streets have hidden in warm coats. I live in a city on the coast and 80% of the time everyone is in shorts and t-shirts and bathing suits and it's so strange when you meet someone who is dressed up. Here, even though there are 4 seasons in my town it feels like two, you jump from winter boots to sandals and back again. As weird as it is that is the situation. What have I done to prepare for the colder days? I pulled out the long pants and jackets I cleaned and hid the sandals and other summer shoes to make room for the sneakers and boots I checked the medicine cabinet to see if it had products and medications suitable for boosting immunity and colds. The weather is very changeable and in order not to get sick at home we need to be prepared I bought a pumpkin. As strange as it sounds, fall is the season of pumpkins for me, not only because of Halloween but also because it's the time of year when we've made a delicious pumpkin dessert at home. Fall is such a beautiful season filled with so many emotions, the school year begins for the students, a frantic preparation begins for the various holidays that are coming up. The true joy in the home! I used Canva for the images! Have a nice and amazing day!

My lovely male cat It is my cat, he is with us from the 2011 year His name is Betko. There is a funny story about choosing his name. At first, the vet said that this is a "girl cat". We argued about the name of the cat and the movie "Ugly Betty" was casting on the TV. Then I proposed why we can't name the cat Betty. And we named it like that. He was a small and angry little cat. Every morning he waked me up chewing my toes. It was a painful and pleasant moment because I was seeing the little fellow happy. The happy story ended when one morning Betty started licking his Betko thing near my pillow. I was shocked but accepted that we have Betko in the house. #petlovers #pets #cats
