Little Jansen boy went for respiratory function test a.k.a. Lung Test the other day. His respi doctor just wanted to find out how well his lungs are functioning right now especially his right underdeveloped lung, so she called for a test at this particular department. It started off okay with him trying his very best to inhale and exhale via his mouth only, the nose being 'pinched' or 'clamped' by a spongy tool. Then when oxygen was being 'shooted' into the mouth, he couldn't synchronised the inhale and exhale, making him panic and he felt suffocated with the air accumulated inside him. And he cried. Such a poor thing. Good thing, the Officer understood and immediately called off the test and remarked that this test actually wasn't easy even for adults. And for children, maybe if Jansen is 9-10 years old, he would feel more confident to manage. The Office praised Jansen for doing great and trying his best. Next up will be another appointment with the respi doctor next week.
