We went further away from where we stayed yesterday. About 40 minutes drive to deliver burger patties, and then we hang out at a coffee shop for some drinks. I saw a lady eating curry noodle, I couldn't resist and ordered one for myself. Supposed to keep the tummy empty for durian at night but somehow, I just ordered the curry noodle. We were at a restaurant called The Travelling Duck for husband's birthday family dinner. They served really great roasted London duck which they called it as "wagyu duck". Succulent, smokey goodness, fresh duck meat. Delicious. We also ordered their curry fish which was highly recommended as well. I must say the curry was super tasty, good amount of fish, French beans, and tofu puffs in the claypot. Happy birthday to my husband. ♥️♥️♥️
⚽Anyone watching the final? Tonight is special. The boys and I want to join the husband since it is the final. So here we are, watching the final at cafe of my husband's friend. He opened it till late for this purpose and set up the projector too. Go go go!
Husband and I finally got some time off to be with each other without the children. Thank you parents for helping to take care the boys. We went to Muito Bom! Brazilian BBQ for dinner whereby the waiters would come out one by one to your table to cut for you the meat. I had never eat so much meat before. After on-going serving, I got to signal the waiter 'stop' sign. Burping good! I especially love the sirloin, beef skewer and picanha.
Some Christmas trees I captured during these few days of out and about. I love the sight of tall Christmas tree and the see different types of decorations they have. But after few days of going out, I feel like staying home for months. Haha. But, it is school holiday. Let's go out with family, don't be potato couch. Lol. Yes, I am a homey person. Lunch time here. I find showing food is the easiest post to make. Everywhere I see food food food food. Haha. We are having simple chicken burger at home. But I don't have burger buns so I use the usual sandwich bread. Just pan fry the chicken patty with butter, and layer the chicken burger sandwich with cheese slices and mayonnaise and ketchup. Yummyyyy!!!
Went to the mall yesterday night to get some Christmas goodies and saw two new spots for children as extra activity and play. The Camp5 climbing spots and Jungle Gym. The boys were interested but we gotto budget it for next round. Christmas time, sometimes spend more than usual. So we just enjoyed watching other children climbed and played. Beautiful flowers at wake service yesterday. Our friend's mother passed away and we just wanted to be there for support. She knows she will miss her mum dearly but she knows one day she will see her again at heaven and now her mum is cheering her while she lives her life to the fullest.
Today is movie outing day with the boys. After watching Puss in Boots with the children, we went to The Burger Lab for early dinner for the eldest son and husband. Myself and youngest were not really hungry. They got themselves Messi Burger and Lab Burger with fries, mac and cheese and mashed potatoes. Very delicious burgers. Myself and youngest son ate few mouthfuls of the mac n cheese and mashed potatoes. Love the lime juice too.
