After 48 hours isolating in Germany, it's now just 30 mins until boarding. My first flight in over a year! All the Frankfurt Australian embassy staff got up super early to be at the airport at 6am to make sure noone got lost and had all the necessary forms filled out. #Australia

I somehow got a last minute seat on a repatriation flight from Frankfurt to Darwin on Saturday. I've been trying to get back since my October flight was cancelled, so it almost doesn't seem real! I will have to get a test today to be allowed to cross the border to Germany tomorrow, get another test there, and then stay in isolation near the airport for two days before the flight. #Australia
