My only Cypella herbertii Native perennial herbaceous plant, of small size. Endemic to northeastern Argentina. Its name comes from the Greek kyphella, "hole of the ear", alluding to the shape similar to the folds of an ear. The flower opens in the morning and withers in the afternoon.
