My only Cypella herbertii Native perennial herbaceous plant, of small size. Endemic to northeastern Argentina. Its name comes from the Greek kyphella, "hole of the ear", alluding to the shape similar to the folds of an ear. The flower opens in the morning and withers in the afternoon. It attracts pollinating insects due to the presence of oil-secreting glands in its flowers. It grew lonely on the side of my garden giving me its beauty... and I gladly share it with you. Mi única Cypella herbertii Planta herbácea perenne nativa, de pequeño porte.  Endemica  del noreste de la Argentina. Su nombre proviene del griego kyphella, «hueco de la oreja», aludiendo a la forma semejante a los pliegues de una oreja. La flor abre por la mañana y se marchita por la tarde. Atrae  insectos polinizadores debido a la presencia de glandulas secretoras de aceite en sus flores.
