History never repeats itself but it often rhymes. Necessity is often the reason given for the infringment on our liberty. Forever lockdowns and Zero Covid are not achieveable. Temporary measures become more permanent. People forget what life was like before the pandemic. We adjust to a new normal with less freedom than before. Lockdowns create huge suffering, due to the econonomic impact. The prosperity of a nation has a direct result on mortality. If people are unable to work they can't feed their familes, particuarly in developing countries.
