Not a bad day today. The first day of July and it's currently 15ยฐc and set to reach a high of 19ยฐc this afternoon. A little on the cool side but staying dry with just a few high level clouds. Just popped into town to buy a few things before lunch on my day off. ๐

A walk through the park to pick my car up from the garage it's all fixed now, need to get some new tyres too front 2 are worn and close to the limit and the MOT is not far away. Thats a couple of weeks wages!
Some interesting stuff here on Pfizer and Moderna. Check it out and make your own mind up. I'm sharing as it's a fascinating article, though am not as yet drawing any conclusions from it. https://atlantabusinessjournal.com/covid-19-vaccines-are-gene-therapy/
England v Ukraine kicks off soon 8pm. What's gonna be the score. The England defence has been solid so far this tournament and I think were better in the Germany game, though I see a tough match tonight but i'm saying 3-1 to England!!
Sunshine and showers today but it makes for some beautiful looking coulds. 20ยฐc currently here. How is the weather in your part of the world?
New feature shows how much you have earned by staking on Coinbase, I dont have a huge amount on that exchange, but it is some reward a least for staking Tezos, Atom and Alogrand. ๐
Two more coins on Coinbase earn! You can earn $6 in AMP and BOND tokens, watch the video, take the quiz, then trade for BCH. ๐๐
Will we ever go back to life as it was before covid?? An interesting article here which makes you think. ๐ค https://www.aier.org/article/will-things-ever-go-back-to-normal/
Bright and fresh feeling monday, sitting in the shade relaxing for a while before I go to work this afternoon.
Just read this very interesting analysis of Platos Cave. Still very relevant today I think. https://historyofyesterday.com/the-meaning-behind-platos-cave-403011d240a9 Picture: Pixabay
Great game tonight, excellent free kick for the Denmark goal, but England back in it, set up for a great second half. More goals in the next half, England 3-2 After extra time, my prediction.
The day after a historic victory for England in the football, the skies are blue and the sun is shining, and I have on my rose tinted spectacles, it's coming home this time! ๐๐
How the weather changes here in the UK, blue skies earlier and now it's raining. Was nice enough to have lunch in the garden, but now it's like this. ๐ง๏ธ๐ง๏ธ
If you use faucetpay this app can get you a little bch every 5 minutes and it's available on the Play store. A little BCH now could be worth a lot in the future. ๐๐ http://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ramshiv.freebitcoincash
Nothing better than to put your feet up with a nice cup of tea when you get home from a long day at work. I bought some Lady Grey tea and I find it so refreshing. ๐โ
If England can win tonight it will be great for Gareth Southgate particuarly, after that penatly miss in Euro 96 it would be great to lead England to victory! Whatever the result, getting to the final is a great achievement. 55 Years have hurt, never stopped me dreaming. ๐
The weather is warming up again just in time for my summer holiday. I'm off to sunny Wales and hoping it stays fine, though most people don't visit Wales for the weather. ๐คฃ Here in the south east today it's 22ยฐc and sunny. How is the weather where you are?
Bright sunny day today and my last day at work today before my staycation, will feel good to clock off at 5.30 today. ๐
Only went to work to find out I have booked today as Holiday! Could have slept in this morning. ๐คฃ๐คฃ Ah well I can enjoy the fine weather now. ๐
Found this app! I have tested a few and this is the best one to use if you want to collect satoshi from multi faucets. It's on the Play Store. ๐ Most of them pay to Faucetpay! Instantly. It's easy to configure and add your own custom faucets too, BCH faucets for example. Anyway on Faucetpay you can use the built in exchange to swap you coins for BCH if you wish for cheaper withdrawals. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.KayaDevStudio.free_bitcoin_cryptocoin
On Monday the 19th of July the UK will be lifting all 'Legal Covid Restrictions' but supermarkets will still ask people to wear masks, and it will be encouraged on public transport. Cases are rising sharply but hospital admissions are much lower now, are we doing the right thing opening up? The argument for doing so is that if we waited until the Autumn it would be worse than doing so in the summer. I don't think things will be 'Normal' as in how they were before covid for aโฆ
Beautiful day for a walk outside, 24ยฐc and looks like it will stay fine and settled for a while. ๐
63 Satoshis for this roll on the 'Free Bitcoin' faucet, I wonder does anyone ever win the top prize and with 30,000 Satoshi threshold to withdraw I don't know why I bother trying sometimes, one day maybe, it's free to play so I live in hope. ๐คฃ๐คฃ
Found a really great app called 'Hermit' for making 'Lite Apps' and it works really great for noise cash too, you can save some space on your phone using this and there are no ads. Heres a link to the site and it's also on the Play store. https://hermit.chimbori.com/
Long old drive today but we made it to the west coast of Wales just in time to capture these pictures before dark, fine weather today and so glad I had the air conditioning re-gassed before the heatwave, reached 31ยฐc today. ๐
Was earning a bit from some Express Crypto faucets a couple of years ago when the prices were lower and just checked my microwallet to see how much i've withdrawn in total. Over $81 USD at current prices. It seems it is worth stacking satoshis when the price of crypto is low. ๐๐
Stockmarket down a lot yesterday and crypto prices on the slide too, I thought crypto was meant to be a hedge against falling prices. Fears that a resurgence of Covid cases may hamper the economic recovery, I don't know but trying to beat the market in the short term is very difficult and when we make a good trade, maybe it's more down to luck than good analysis. Anyway I am not selling my assets, just maybe accumalate some more when prices are low and have some patience too.
The chillers in Aldi can't cope with the heatwave here in Wales.
Been playing the 'Bitcoin Mania' game, no need to invest in any miners, easily earn 80 satoshi per day and a fun flappy bird style game and tiles game which you can use to upgrade your miners. A low withdrawal threshold to 'Payeer' too. Check it out, it doesn't take a lot of time and is good fun too. https://bitcoinmaniagame.com/?r=37441&s=ref
I like to be organised and use an app called 'Smart Drawer' to keep my homescreen tidy and have organised all my apps, including all the faucets I use to earn a little crypto. I paid to remove the ads as it's a great tool I find and well worth it, though the free versions ads are not intrusive either. It's on the play store too. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=ginlemon.smartdrawer&hl=en&gl=US
9pm on the beach in Wales, wonderful weather and a beautiful sunset.
Took the tram to the summit in Llandudno and there were some stunning views from the top. ๐
One of the trams to the summit in Llandudno, we had a nice day out and I won the 18 hole mini golf too. ๐
Besides posting on here I like to find other ways to get a little crypto on my phone in my spare time. If you use Faucetpay you might be interested in this Feyorra faucet with a nice layout and also no timer. If you are bored and waiting in a queue or for a bus then it's a good way to pass some time and earn a little. ๐ https://feyorra.top/?r=100356
Climbing Mount Snowdon on a clear and warm July day. A bit of a way to go to the summit.
Made it to the summit of Snowdon and back, a little cooler at the top and a nice breeze too, wonderful to be able to climb on a clear day.
Relaxing by the cool stream in Betws-y-Coed, Wales, a beautiful place and we have found a nice shady spot for a picnic lunch.
Interesting article on the issue of Vaccine Passports, our ticket to freedom? or an errosion of our liberty. https://www.spiked-online.com/2021/07/14/vaccine-passports-are-no-ticket-to-freedom/
After a nice day out here is the evening sunset by the sea.
Last day of our Holiday here in sunny Wales, has felt more like Ibiza this week, wall to wall sunshine. Heading home tomorrow.
Heard this on the drive home today, really is worth a listen, a thoughtful view on muskism and cryptocurrencies. I believe it exposes the flaws with BTC and why with BCH which is faster and cheaper to send it is better placed to do well in the long term. I think this programe is only available in the UK on BBC sounds, you may need to create an account to listen, well worth a listen though. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/m000y5ds
Covid cases falling for 6 days in a row now after the lifting of most covid restrictions. Scientists modelling has been consistently wrong, are we past the peak here or will we see cases rise again soon or come the Autumn, I wonder what you think?
Heard this for the first time in ages on holiday last week so thought I would share. I think this made it to Number 1 here in the UK. Hanson - mmmbop Heres a funny thing. Search up 'mmmbop unpretty mashup' in the mix with TLC. Very similar tune ๐ค๐ถ๐ป๐ https://youtu.be/NHozn0YXAeE
On the left are the covid cases in the UK since Jan 21 and on the right the price of BTC over the same period, is there any relationship here between the two and if so what is it? Forcecasting the price of BTC is almost as tough as modelling potential scenarios for the current pandemic. We are living in a very uncertain world with an uncertain future ahead of us, I look forward to the days when this pandemic is over, though my feeling is that it could go on for much longerโฆ
Interesting read here about the 'Tether' stablecoin, if it all goes wrong don't say you weren't warned. I prefer 'Dai' as a stablecoin to be honest, crypto has a bright and promising future ahead but there are sure to be some bumps along the way. https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2021-07-26/tether-executives-said-to-face-criminal-probe-into-bank-fraud
Fascinating article here from Ed Snowden, related to the 'Pegusus' spy software used by goverment agencies to hack high profile politicians phones. Who would want to own a smartphone! When I got home last night I found that there was water running from the dishwasher. ๐
Browsing through the play store as I do from time to time and found this app which is a map of all the places that take crypto as payment, including BCH there are no ads or anything and it has a nice interface too, I will try it out for a while and try to find some places to spend my BCH. ๐๐ https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=cash.bitcoinmap.coinector
Another short 3 day break in Hastings, very windy today but warm enough and sunny too. Heading down the 'East Hill' to the old town, beach and mini golf. ๐
Used nearly all my mobile data with half the month still to go, but there is free wi-fi here on the seafront. Here is a picture of the east hill cliff lift. I have been on it before but we walked down today to save a few quid.
Nice walk along the promanade this evening and managed to catch this beautiful sunset from Hastings pier. ๐
Bottle Alley in Hastings. Along the lower promanade, the walls are decorated in different colours using glass from different coloured broken bottles. It is also lit up in the evening.
History never repeats itself but it often rhymes. Necessity is often the reason given for the infringment on our liberty. Forever lockdowns and Zero Covid are not achieveable. Temporary measures become more permanent. People forget what life was like before the pandemic. We adjust to a new normal with less freedom than before. Lockdowns create huge suffering, due to the econonomic impact. The prosperity of a nation has a direct result on mortality. If people are unable toโฆ
Just saying we need to make up our own minds what proposed solution to this pandemic is all about, but it's worth thinking about the increasing power of the state and this pandemic has been a convinent excuse to seize power. Of all the liberties we need to preserve, free speech is the most inportant.
BCH sets us free, gives us back our liberty, The banking system enslaves us, in their system we can't trust. Crypto we find holds the key, true financial sovereinty, Keep your 12 word seed safe, etch it on a metal plate, hide it somewhere you can find, write some clues down to remind. But lay up treasure in heaven I say, for this earth will pass away. Trust in the Lord with all thine heart, sing to him how great thou art. Wisdom has more value than gold, remember this as youโฆ
Traveled over to Kent yesterday and was sitting on the beach and a text message came through. "Welcome to France, you can use your data allowance like usual with roaming" Picked up the cell tower signal from across the channel!! ๐ฎ๐ฎ
Had a little walk around Eastbourne before coming home, a nice town with plently to do and see. Just took this one picture from the pier today to share with you.
What are you trying to tell me? that I can make a lot of money from BCH? No Neo, i'm trying to tell you that BCH is money! Picture: Pixabay
