Keep me sane "Keep me sane" my mom cried out. Out she came and took my hand. Hands that shake from fear and fright. "Keep me sane" I hear her say. "Say my name when I fall ill" Ill of what I had become. "Keep me sane" it's loud and clear. Clearer than the empty glass. Glass that break like promises. "Keep me sane" she begs from me. Me, who can't keep myself straight. Straight out of trouble and sin. "Keep me sane" the walls just fade. Fading in to yesterday. Yesterday when she was here. "Keep me sane" she said before. Before when I was dumb to know. Know what she was going through. So I tried writing about death and mental illness. I hope that was evident in my poem. Leave a comment for me to become better.

First Love Fourteen and Naive, I thought I knew everything I saw you and only wanted one thing, to hold your hand, to become more than nothing. Hoping, I came forward, blabbing 'bout something You were an angel, you accepted my crazy. We became friends, so young and so hasty never realized that this could go shady. still dived in like someone feisty. Did I regret that? probably not not then, not now, I'm not stuck in a knot. but I still wish I haven't been caught ruining the friendship I eagerly sought.

Taylor Swift: Folklore Hello! I am back with another reaction, but this time I would be reacting to my fave female songwriter Taylor Swift. I remember when I was in high school, my love for lyrics beyond the melody happened when I stumbled upon Taylor Swift songs. Her ability to knit words together to create a story accompanied with beat, tempo, melody, harmony and instrumentals is just brilliant. She sings verses with heavy meanings and intricate messages that a lot of people do relate to from generation to generation, year after year, and album over album. Remember going to computer shops just to download songs? Well I do, and each song I would listen to over and over, then write the lyrics in my big notebook. I created my on song book and most of it was songs from Taylor. Straight from her debut album, "Taylor Swift" to "Fearless", "Speak now", "Red", "1989", "Reputation","Lover", and the most recent one "Folklore" she has proved her talent in song writing and singing. Taylor Swift had a reputation of producing top-chart songs, whenever she had just gone through heart ache or life tragedies. Her recent album, according to Aaron Dessner (Co producer of Folklore), is of gothic vibe and as someone who have loved her songs through the years I agree that this album is more on the gothic and indie vibes, which BTW totally captured my heart and left me with eargasms. As of now my favorite song from the album is her **"This is me trying"** single. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9bdLTPNrlEg **"Pulled the car off the road to the lookout** **Could've followed my fears all the way down** **And maybe I don't quite know what to say** **But I'm here in your doorway"** **"It's hard to be anywhere these days, When all I want is you"** This single of hers reminds me of her song "Back to December", wherein, in both songs she gave off the persona of someone wanting a person back after letting them go. The lyrics and the message behind it is reflected magically in the artistry of the instrumentals and melody. Another song I am currently vibing wtih in the album is her single **"Exile"** https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=osdoLjUNFnA The single features **Bon Iver** and his cool bass voice that blended beautifully with Tay's soft voice. To top that, the song flows in a very relaxing tempo perfect for chilling, resting, before sleep, car rides or even when you're reading. I especially loved the line from the song which goes as: **"I think I've seen this film before** **And I didn't like the ending"** **"I think I've seen this film before** **So I'm leaving out the side door"** The way she used her ability in semantics just sipped out through this album. Over all I loved every song in the Folklore album and each single deserves a chance to be heard. If you love a chill playlist, I recommend you to hear out her songs in the Folklore album, and who knows maybe one or two lines may hit you in the right spot. Here's a link to the full album https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=osdoLjUNFnA&list=PLkqz3S84Tw-QfG01Bz1QYgJnvKXcgpLQ-&index=4 Leave in the comments your favorite song and I will listen to it cause I love discovering new songs. P.S: below are notable mentions of some of my fave singles from her past albums **Ronan** **All Too Well** Lover Cornelia Street You Belong With me If this was a movie White horse Back to December Begin Again I almost do Gorgeous Getaway car TMTM hahahahha sorry

Same sky - Flash Fiction Challenge He is staring at the sky; he saw the sun hiding behind dark clouds. “Jaime! Come on, we need to head back home” his father called out. Right there and then he felt a rush of relief in his chest. Consuela woke up trying to remember the last time they played under the sun. A couple of months had passed where dark clouds gloomed over their town. However, that morning, she felt something different she felt the sun rays beaming, warming up her now rose-flushed cheeks. Both can’t help to reminisce a past they once shared in the city of love – Paris. Jaime worked as a grape picker in the vineyard next to Consuela’s bakery. _________________________________________________ Jaime would stop by Consuela’s bakery every morning before going to work. He loved the bread and pastry but was especially fond of Consuela. Being swayed by the persistence of Jaime, Consuela’s heart took a step closer, day after day, into favoring Jaime. They found love, a love that bloomed from consistency of action. A product of routinely seeing each other, talking, flirting. A love that will soon be tested by change. 3 years passed when a horrible hurricane cleared its paths way, including the vineyard and bakery where Jaime and Consuela met. Tragedy forced the people to migrate and transfer to other cities, towns and even countries. Jaime and Consuela’s love was no exemption. Jaime and his family was forced to go back to Lisbon where the sun is always up. Consuela, who lost her parents in the hurricane, was adopted by her aunt who lived in Germany where the rain always pour. A year passed by when Consuela received a letter.                 *Mi Amor,*                                 *Every morning, look out your window*                                 *Don’t let a day pass even if it hails or snow*                                 *Know in your heart that I am one with the skies*                                 *The clouds are my feelings, the rain are my cries*                                   *If by tomorrow the sun shines bright*                                 *Then I am happy knowing I’m your light*                                 *If dark clouds gloom over your beaming smile*                                 *It is just that I am missing your style*                                   *Remember that I’ll be doing it too*                                 *Looking out my window, waiting for you*                                 *All I have with me is the joy to know*                                 *that clouds up here will soon be there to flow* ______________________________________________ Hi so it's my very first time to a fiction or a short story. I just wanted to challenge my self and this is the result. Thanks for giving time to read this.

Stranger Hi guys. I'm back with a review of the show Stranger. If you are like me and you love the thrill of figuring out the truth then this show is surely for you. A book based drama from the novel of Harlan Coben with the same title. The story revolves around a father who is approached by an anonymous woman revealing some secrets about his wife. The mystery unravels as people in their neighborhood gets blackmailed by the same women only knowing thereafter that their stories are interconnected. I for one didn't know how the story would go and end. I loved every twist amd turn and every question I had was answered only to be followed by another question building up. It left me in awe, the script is wonderfully written. The actors are great and they portrayed their characters well. I hope you give it a try and leave your comments below. Share the title of your fave movie or show and I'd love to watch them and make a review

@nicdre09

Someday Somehow Midnight passes by and I am still awake I wonder how many more hours this would take. Lying down, eyes open, thinking about what could have been with out realizing, I'm losing what I should have seen. Clouds over my head, and I am still afraid too caught up with fear I badly need some aid I shout for help and see your face thankfully, I thought I'd lost the race Triumphs came but so does pain You'll always see the rainbow after the rain. "tough lad", some people might think I should be but only few knows what my armor has cost me The finish line is now facing my back but somehow my heart never left the track. The things I hope would soon come true, is still out in the field running till midnight hue I know I will get there someday maybe with you, who knows, but hey Someday may come longer than what we thought but oneday we'll know the name of that someday we sought. P.S: Wrote this at midnight for about 30 minutes. I suddenly got the urge to write. This is a rough draft. I hope you'll leave a link to your own poems below. Thanks for reading.

Suits: Ending at season 9 I have written in a previous article about my top 5 TV shows and one of the is an American Law Based show called Suits. In the Philippines, the last and final season for the series just streamed Netflix and I am one of those who rooted for it. This is my post-ending article about the show. I have **loved** suits from its very first episode where Harvey Specter hires an associate for a top-notch Law firm. Pretty basic if we end it with that however, there comes the twist of how Mike Ross (the new associate) did not study law at all and was just fortunate to have a photographic memory and his love for books. The whole TV series runs smoothly following the lives of the characters while still involving some court house action as each episode reveals a new case be it a Big catch company or pro-bono. Around season 8 and 9, lead character Mike Ross was pulled out of the show that made a huge impact because it lost the Specter-Ross tandem that started all the buzz. Fortunately for me, with or with out Ross I opted to still finish the series since I am an avid fan of Law related shows. If you are like me, watching the whole series will surely not disappoint. It does not only show us the probable ins and outs of corporate law, moreover it opens social issues and how they are faced by different kinds of people. There are episodes in which they are up against sexual harassment, divorce, housing, and more. Having all of that said, it was truly a delight to watch Suits from season 1 to 9. If it was up to me I would want to see more, unfortunately all I can do is to binge watch it again soon. Thanks for reading. If you like this post comment down below your favorite TV show and why, maybe I'd get a chance to watch it too.

@nicdre09

A love like this I adore my parents. I love how they have their own love language. I especially am fond of how much my father loves my mom. My mom and I usually spend our leisure time watching korean dramas. One time my mom is so focused with what we are watching that she forgot to go grab dinner on time. That's when my dad showed up with food and hot cocoa for my mom. He loves my mom so much that he'd never forget to take care of her. Yes, they may not be the perfect couple. They may always have quarrels, however at the end of the day, both of them belong to each other. I hope someday, I would meet someone who would love me even more than how my dad loves my mom. I pray to experience that kind of love; a love that always forgive, care, protect, support, and trust.

Puppies To **some** people, puppies are undeniable gifts from heaven. **Some** consider them as their own child and is part of their family. Maybe others don't like them and might even end up stressed because of their hygene dependency. But for me my puppy gave our family so much peace and joy. She's just a bundle of happiness and took up the role of being a granddaughter to my parents. I would just like to point out how even though puppies come in different shapes, sizes and temperament. They all come with genuine affection for their owner. If you are a dog lover, Hello leave a comment below about your dog. If not, tell me why not and if you have other pets? or what hobbies do you have that is significant to you.

Always be here.. Just last month we broke up. Nothing big since it was a mutual decision. We remained as close friends, too close that nothing really changed. I am here for you, always in this lifetime, maybe not as a lover but as a friend. Let's take our time and allow each other to explore the world. Endings isn't just sad. There is a yin to yang such as there is always good in goodbyes. Thank you, for still caring and keeping in touch.

@nicdre09

Watcha watching? Are you more of sci-fi gal? or do you enjoy romance more? Well for me, I particularly love crime based TV shows or older kids TV shows. The following are some of my personal favorites that if you have the time, might want to give it a go. **Criminal minds** - My forever fave, revolves mostly on psychopaths and the like. Every episode is a new case taken on by a specialized unit of the FBI. If you love understanding the mind and serial killers this would be a hit for you. **Psych**- If Criminal minds is too serious for your liking, Psych is lighter and has a comedic feel to it. It will work up your brain cells but still will leave you gassed with laughter. **Suits** - Anyone who enjoys law films will love this. The series is wrapped around Law firms and a man who is very capable to be a lawyer but don't have credentials of such. Will his photographic memory change his life? Watch to know more. This series is available on Netflix **Sherlock** - Hearing Sherlock Holmes' british accent must be one of the go to reasons to watch this. However, if you just want to get your neurons at play watching the whole series won't let you down. Watch out for the little small twists as the story goes along. Also available in Netflix. **Dr. House** - Hospital Drama? here's one for you. Dr. House will open your mind to how diagnostics in the hospital works and some of the ins and outs of a doctor's life However, for those who want more drama and romance I'd suggest you check out **Grey's Anatomy,** also a great series btw, but has more spies and drama. Dr. House focuses more on the scientific side of things. OKAY so this is my TOP 5 will post the continuation soon. Leave a comment and like if you want to see more of this. Thinking of doing a Kdrama series and Movie lists too.

Revelation I want to be me but I don't know who me is. Beyond the smiles, come a very soft lingering hiss Telling me to reveal what is hidden Calling me to force myself broken I try pushing past these walls of sane disguise But nothing seems to be hidden under my eyes I let my mask fall, waiting to see myself in the mirror Petrified by my own reflection, seeing my face in I didn't have eyes to stare blankly at Or a nose to smell the sweat beading my palm Nor a mouth to taste the tears falling from a shallow black hole. It scared me on how dumb I am to forget why I used a mask to start with. (p.s: a lil continuation of my poem MASKED) (comment down below a phrase or a word you might want to see for my future contents)
