Love should be like that. There is no need to get close to the man of love. Love goes from afar. And wishing someone well from afar, remembering him every moment is true love.
One-sided love has no selfishness. There is no deception. There are no lies. Only one person has a feeling of innocent selfless love for another person. That feeling grows every moment.
Personally I support it. I respect him. He who truly loves never expects an exchange, unselfishly always by his side.
