We had a plant nursery and have never seen this plant. My husband's daughter worked in landscaping so we had her look at it and she had never seen it. After searching for plants online my sister-in-law found that it is a Chinese crown orchid and until 2007 they did not exist in Florida. Now I have 3 that I have found, I am betting there are more of them. I have no clue as to how it came to be in my yard, but they are here. It has a slender stem growing from it with tiny flowers.
