Protect your Mental Health: Ways to rise above the chaos.
***Securing your psychological well-being will likewise assist you with dealing with your actual wellbeing, perceive emotional and spiritual needs, foster and sustain strong relationships, and accomplish balance in different areas of your life.***
Going off the rails mentally is troublesome regardless, and the COVID19 is making it considerably harder. With school closures and dropped occasions, many of us are passing up probably the greatest snapshots of our young lives — as well as everyday moments like participating in class and hanging out with friends.
For people who are going through lifestyles modifications because of the outbreak — who are feeling anxious, isolated and disappointed, know this: ***you are not alone.***
It’s important to take care of yourself and get the most from life. After having a mental breakdown for days, I will going to share ways to protect your mental health.
**TALK ABOUT YOUR FEELINGS**
*Discussing your sentiments can help you stay in good mental well-being and manage times when you feel grieved.*
**Talking about your feelings isn’t a sign of weakness.** It's all part of taking control of your health and doing what you can to maintain it. Talking can help you deal with a situation you've been thinking about for a long time. Simply being heard can make you feel more supported and less alone. It also works the other way around. If you open yourself, it will inspire others to do the same.
It's not always simple to put into words how you're feeling. Use a lot of words if you can't think of one. What do you think it's like inside your mind? What do you feel compelled to do as a result of it?
You don't need to sit your loved ones down for a big conversation about your wellbeing. Many people feel more comfortable when these conversations develop naturally - maybe when you're doing something together.
If it feels awkward at first, give it time. Make talking about your feelings something that you do.
You don't have to sit down with your loved ones and have a long discussion about your mental health. Many individuals feel more at ease when talks arise naturally, such as while doing something together.
Give it time if it feels strange at first. **Make it a habit to talk about how you're feeling.**
**TAKE A BREAK**
A change of scenery or pace is beneficial to one's mental health. It could be a five-minute break from cleaning your kitchen, a half-hour lunch break at work or a weekend spent traveling to a different location.
It only takes a few minutes to de-stress. Make some **‘me time’** for yourself.
*“Sometimes when I am listening to music, I let my thoughts flow and it helps me.”*
Taking a rest could simply being active or it could mean doing nothing at all.
Take a deep breath… and relax. Try yoga, meditation, or simply relaxing with your feet up.
Pay attention to your body. Allow yourself time to sleep if you're extremely exhausted. Our mental health worsens when we don't get enough sleep, and our focus diminishes as a result.
**ASK FOR HELP IF NEEDED**
We aren't all superhuman. We get tired and overwhelmed at times by how we feel or when things go wrong. If things are getting too much for you to handle, **ask for help.**
The key thing to remember is that there is light at the end of the tunnel. You don't have to see it or understand how to walk down that path to heal. You only need to send up a flare, in a sense, to let someone know that you require assistance and advice.
It's not just about outlining the action steps when you're having a hard time; it's also about knowing how to seek for help; recognizing how depression can obstruct those stages, and identifying small windows of hope and connection.
Asking for help takes courage, but acknowledging what you are going through and finding ways to cope up with your situation will help you regain control.
**VALUE YOURSELF**
*How you treat yourself has a direct impact on how you feel about yourself. People are unaware that their sense of self-worth has a significant role in whether or not they take the steps necessary to improve their lives.*
Avoid self-criticism and treat yourself with care and respect. Make time for your favorite projects and interests, or expand your horizons. Do a daily crossword puzzle, start a garden, exercise, learn to play an instrument, or learn a new language.
It's unlikely that I'll devote the time and attention to living a better and more positive lifestyle if I don't love, cherish, and value myself. So, in order to reach our full potential, we must learn to sincerely care about ourselves and appreciate our well-being.
**THOUGHTS**
Mental or emotional health issues can affect everyone, and most of us will experience them at some point in our lives. One in every five of us will be diagnosed with a mental illness this year alone. Although mental health issues are extremely frequent, many of us do little to improve our circumstances. We try to brazen it out by distracting ourselves or self-medicating with drink, drugs, or self-destructive habits, ignoring the emotional messages that tell us something is wrong. We bury our troubles in the hopes that no one will notice. We are hopeful that our condition will improve on its own over time. Or we simply give up—telling ourselves this is “just the way we are.”
Eventually, everything will be okay so keep going;
Dear Broken Hearts,
*There Is Nothing Greater For You Than Self-Love,,,*
Love comes in many forms, and the deepest pain hits in one called **“LEAVING”**. We sometimes don’t understand why they left. Is it never really enough? They made us alive in the depth of their good promises. And then they leave (left) like nothing more should be taken care of. Unfair it seems, for they made us feel we are the world, and they are our universe.
The moment we committed ourselves to love someone or to be with someone, we lose a part of us to give. And when we have nothing left to give, we dig from an empty cup. Then suddenly we became strangers with our souls.
No one wants to be left broken. Who would want that? But if there’s one thing I learned from someone is the courage to let go of the things that didn’t work out. It is tiresome to live in the days of the past. It is unhealthy to dwell in the nights of terror. Yes, it drains us somewhere in the process. Our hearts then become a vessel of anxiety, fears, insecurities; a lot more like hell because it feels like death. Life becomes surviving not living anymore.
Yes, they were meant to be part of us, **but they were not meant to stay.** Certainly, they left us with great lessons to love and care for ourselves. We don’t need to beg for them to stay. We don’t need to cave ourselves, hidden in the cares of undeserved love. `We all deserve to be happy.`**We all deserve love.** There will be a perfect space and time for us to experience our own universe.
You’ve seen yourself coming through the course of love. You’ve seen how far you have fought for someone you love. Don’t pretend like you do not know what else you could do. You have done it before, you will do it again…better as it goes.
The pain will drain you. People will judge you in a way. You will get tired I know. But keep going, focus on yourself, not on the pain. Enjoy it, walk in it. Love stays even in no motion.

Sharing what I wrote a year ago after my ex broke up with me hahhahhahah lol! And yes, naka move on ako. Also, ✨ super happy and blessed na ako sa boyfriend ko ngayon ✨
Just want to let you guys know that I've been in your shoes. I understand the loneliness and agony that consumes you; I know how it feels to be stuck in a bed, in a shower, or even on a floor while crying, but at the same time wanting to be anywhere else but where you are; and I know how empty space can be so heavy with memories. But, I want YOU also to know that you will get through this and you will be okay! Endure the pain until it hurts no more.
I'll pray for your healing!! ✨ Take care!

Why you should start NOW?;
**Did you ever feel like doubting yourself when you're about to do something?**
That feeling when you are not confident enough to do the things you want and it seems like you can't accomplish it because something is holding you back.
That's how I've felt for a long time, and there are some things I refuse to start because I'm terrified of the process and the possible outcomes if I do. I admit that my level of confidence is still low, but I am still doing everything I can to attain my goal. I've gone over several articles and books that tackled building confidence and I've also discussed it with my close friends and my boyfriend about this matter in the hopes that they can assist me in becoming more confident.
And that's when it dawned on me. I discovered there are reasons why I should pursue something I want/love.
And that's exactly what I'm about to tell you. So, if you're unsure about starting or pursuing something, read this.
**Let's start...**
***Life is Short.***
Life is short, we all know that. We have no idea when we will exit this earth. We don't know how long our lives will last because we can't foresee when our time on Earth will finish.
So, if you're hesitant to start doing anything, do it now as long as it's good for you and you're not jeopardizing the lives of others. Don't squander your time on frivolous pursuits; instead, embrace every moment that you are still alive in this world, which includes beginning to **work on your goals** and **removing the obstacles** that are preventing you from achieving them.
***Whatever you do, someone will criticize you.***
If you're avoiding something you desire because you're frightened of criticism from others, I'd advise you to ignore them instead. Who cares about them? It's fine if they don't approve of our actions. Stop allowing them to influence us because we are not robots. **Whatever we do, criticism will be leveled at us, so we might as well do whatever we want as long as we are confident in our actions.** We don't need toxics on our way to achievement; God and our loved ones are enough cheerleaders.
***If we love what we're doing, success is more likely.***
We can certainly accomplish anything, particularly if we enjoy the process while working on it. We don't consider it difficult if we enjoy what we're doing, thus, as we often hear from experts and experienced people, work appears to be a game, and we appear to be just playing, why? We're having fun with the process, and there's no way stress can get in the way. I'm sure some of you are preparing something spectacular.
Isn't it something you adore? **Then go for it;** I'm confident you'll succeed if you believe in yourself.

I just wanted to share what I've read in an article a while ago, and it says there . . .
*I don’t know who you are. I don’t know what you do. I don’t know what keeps you up at night. I don’t know the dreams that make your life worth living.*
*But I do know this.*
*There will never be a better time to do this thing that you aim to do. Do it today.*
*Fear, uncertainty, and timing can be crippling.*
*You will never know everything you need to know. You will never be an expert until you begin.*
*The hardest part of writing is the first sentence. The hardest brushstroke to make is the first mark to blank canvas.*
*But no one wants to stare at blank canvas. They want to see a work of art.*
*So start today. The first step is always the hardest.*

**CLOSING THOUGHTS**
There are millions of reasons to pursue something we desire and enjoy, not just the ones I've stated in this article. But the most important thing we must first cultivate and nurture is the belief that we can accomplish anything because we are brave, powerful, and have unwavering faith in our Almighty God.
We can't let go of the chance to do something new, especially when life is short and there will come a day when we are no longer able to accomplish our goals and missions in this world. ***We should begin as soon as possible,*** start the process, and don't lose hope if progress is slow. As long as we started and we're moving forward in the right direction, our confidence, perseverance, and faith in the Lord will help us to get in that way.
Whatever's holding you back, again, I will remind you to take those away, we don't need them, they will just make things heavy that will drag us down. What we need are the wings of bravery, strength, confidence, love, and faith to fly high above the sky.
**Take a step now to make your aspirations a reality, and success will undoubtedly appear.**

The 3 C's of Life...
***Living life shouldn't be just sitting on the couch doing nothing. We must keep ourselves moving, and do something for the betterment of ourselves.***
We won't be successful if we don't accomplish anything. We won't be able to reach our goals if we don't have the bravery to strive for them. Wishing for something to happen is insufficient. Life isn't a passive experience. Nothing will happen unless we take action. To do the work, we must be engaged at all times, and if we persevere, the things we sow will soon be reaped.
You must decide what you will do, face the risk if it currently exists, and work for the change you desire in your life.
Life is like a roaring river in which we shall die if we do not know how to swim and do nothing amid the raging waters.
Meaning to say, if we didn't do something in our life, what path we will be ending up on? Of course, nothing, just a plain life before and we'll end up dying without an achievement. No excitement, no challenges, no success.
~
**In this article, I am going to share with you the 3 C's in life that every one of us must take into consideration.**
"You must make a choice to take a chance, or your life will never change."
- Zig Ziglar
~
**1.** ****Choice****
The first thing we should do before doing anything is to make a choice. Plan ahead of time and make informed decisions to reduce the likelihood of regret later on. When making a decision, don't be too hasty. Choose what you believe to be the greatest options, or if you're unsure, seek recommendations or suggestions from individuals you trust.
For instance, we must choose from the letters or numbers put on the test paper to answer each question, just like we would in an exam, especially a multiple-choice question. It will be automatically erroneous if we did not choose and skip a specific item. Our teacher will mark it as incorrect because we didn't provide an answer to the question, and we will have no point with that nothing will be added to the supposed total score.
In life, we should always make a choice, because if we didn't, our way of life will remain as it is. There's no change at all.
**2.** ****Chance****
After you've made a choice, chances and opportunities will start to present themselves. And what we should do is seize such opportunities to move closer to our goals.
Taking risks is an important aspect of living a better life. Consider this: if we overlook the opportunities or chances that are available to us, would our lives change? None.
Continuing my previous example:
We've already chosen from each of the items on our test paper; the next step is to consider the opportunities that we can grab after that. That we should deliberate carefully and select the proper answer as often as possible to increase our chances of receiving a high score and, most likely, an A+ on our academic card. That's the way things work. After you've made your decision, take a chance.
**3.** ****Change****
Change for the better is what everyone's aiming for in their lives. And that will be successfully achieved when the first 2 C's are done perfectly.
If we don't make a decision and refuse to take a chance, our lives will never change. The first two stages determine our prospects of making a change in our lives. So, if we don't want to live a life that is stagnant with little or no advancement, we should consider what we should do with our lives. Don't just sit on the couch and sleep in our bed; get to work on what you want to accomplish.
In light of the preceding examples, if we chose the correct answers to the questions on our test paper, there is a chance that we will receive a high score and a remarkable grade, and as a result, change will occur, such as making our parents proud or receiving a medal of appreciation at the recognition ceremony.
However, if we do not answer the questions, we will receive a low or no score, and our prospects of receiving good scores or experiencing a change will be slim to none. How can we expect something to happen if we didn't do anything to make it happen? If we want to change, we must make a decision and take as many risks as possible.
***Closing Thoughts:***
Life isn't always about chance. We can't just wish for something to happen and never put into effort to make it happen. If that is our thinking, believe me when I say that we will never change.
No one can do the work for us indefinitely. If we desire something, we must first decide what we want and then plan the best course of action to achieve it. After that, seize the possibility or possibilities that come our way to help us improve. Finally, the changes we desire will be present to make us happy.
Just a gentle reminder: making a decision is seldom perfect or correct all of the time. There will be times when we believe our decisions will benefit us, but they do not. If we make the wrong decision, chances are we will be harmed, and the change we expect will not be what we expect.
And that's okay, as long as you'll never give up and continue to try again. We make mistakes all the time as we learn and strive towards something. We shouldn't be disappointed by our poor decisions; they are still a part of our lives that we should be grateful for because they happened. Just be cautious the next time and make the proper decisions. We must evaluate our past mistakes and use them as motivation to do the right thing to increase our chances of making a change.
***Make the right choice and you'll have a better chance of making a positive change.***
**Note:**
This article is based on **Zig Ziglar's "The 3 C’s of Life: Choices, Chances, Changes."** https://www.goodreads.com/quotes/8054595-the-3-c-s-of-life-choices-chances-changes-you-must#:~:text=Quote%20by%20Zig%20Ziglar%20%3A%20%E2%80%9CThe,%3A%20Choices%2C%20Chances%2C%20Changes.
After reading the quotation, I was encouraged to think about it and share my thoughts and opinions with all of you here by writing this post, because I believe there will be many lessons you can learn from it. I hope you learn something useful that will help you stay motivated and strive for the change you desire in your life.
