  SWIFT stands for "The Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunication (SWIFT), legally S.W.I.F.T. SC" and it is a banking system in the world. It is an international rule that countries use USD to trade commodities like rice, oil, wheat, and forth, and Japan also agreed to exclude #Russia to use SWIFT, which means that Russia is no longer able to trade any commodities with Japan using SWIFT. It has an big impact on Russian economy. It may not cause any immediate effect on the invasion but it has a long term effect on the Russian economy for sure.
