New System, Need Changes. One day everything has changed when a virus named Covid-19 attacked the world. Who would thought that this virus could kill many lives, people losing their jobs, gives panic to people? We are all facing a pandemic right now, and it's highly contagious. As a student and teenager at the same time, we also face different new system which affects our current life. Changes have no exemption. The new learning system has been so rough. Many things I used to do before cannot be repeated anymore. When face to face classes still exist, I woke up around 4:30 am, or 5 am. It's because our classes start at 6 in the morning, yes, it's so early. The battle here is about taking a bath; it feels like the water made of a bucket of ice. Swear, touch the water, and you will freeze. But now, when the Department of Education implemented the new learning system, I can wake up whenever I want—kidding, unless I heard my mother's loud voice, and after that, my mother will thump the door of my room. There are so many things that I need to deal with while battling with this new system. FOCUS I admit it's tough to focus when they put too much pressure on you. I remember when my adviser told me to work with my modules a bit harder than before if I don't want to lose my title in the class. Of course, I took or saw that as a compliment, but I can't deny that I was really in a mess at that time. Study, study, study, I can't do anything but advance reading. In reality, the outcome isn't good; I lose focus on what I have on my plate right now. And it's hard to gain your focus back if you already feel unmotivated by what you are doing. I lose my spirit along with the guide. I realized that multitasking isn't a solution; that will take you longer to finish your works. So learn to do things one time at one hand. PROCRASTINATE I don't know what to say about this. It has been my definition of myself. You will feel happy if you try to put things off. But the exchange of that is a bunch of overwhelming worksheets piled up together. Sometimes, I want to do my tasks, but my other self doesn't want to cooperate. When I try to use my phone while doing my modules, 5 minutes later, I will end up scrolling in my Facebook feed. Not a single piece of worksheets I finished at the end of the day. And that keeps on happening over and over again. You will see yourself cramming, and you can't blame anyone considering it's your fault. I'm still working on this attitude of mine. Could you give me advice instead? TIME MANAGEMENT Sheesh. This one is tough. I tried to write all of my schedules in my notes and stick them to the wall, but it's not working. I can't follow a single one of them. Distractions are one of the reasons why I can't manage my time. Although I have some free time, it's hard to the activities when you're holding your phone. And I'm still living under my parent's roof, and I should at least help them with the household chores. One day has 24 hours, but it feels like I always lack time. I'm trying hard to align my time. I feel like my free time is only during midnight because that's when my mind functions well. The time where people in the house are already peacefully sleeping. ENVIRONMENT As much as possible, I make sure that I'm in the right place to answer my modules. I'm not the kind of person who doesn't mind where they placed. I can't just answer my modules in my bed, and I always sense that my bed is pulling me, so I may end up falling asleep. I can't work in a noisy environment either; it's pretty destructive. That's why I have my study table, where I can work on my modules there. It's also good to do your activities in an environment that can inspire you to finish your works. We are now looking forward to the 4th grading period of our school year. But we still haven't seen our grades from 2nd-3rd grading and the other subject were still left blank. If our adviser is planning to shock us, please ma'am don't. Everything may seem rough, but there's a solution to every problem you are experiencing. I always believe in myself; if others can do it, I can too. But I'm always aware of my limitations; that's why I don't put too many expectations when I know in myself that I can't do it. I stick in my mind that my future lies in what I'm doing in my current life. However, I don't add tomorrow's anxieties on what's top for now.  I want to take the law course; it's the only course that awakes my interest. I'm still perplexed by it. Nevertheless, no one dictates what I should do in my future. Yet my mother asks me if I don't want to take education, and I was like, "no way." But, perhaps, you'll see me teaching one day, who knows? I bet it can change. Mayhaps I end up not entering college. Lol. Anyway, I also want to mention here at @deedum for encouraging me to take law. Ate, I'm so grateful to be motivated by a professional like you. Thank you for giving me advice about what kind of path I will enter. That somehow helps me to be ready. I just don't know if that's motivation or warning because I'm kinda scared, kidding. Thank you for looking over my article.

Things I've learned from things I don't know why I will write this. I somehow came up with this kind of topic, and I want to share it with you all. Are you one of those people who learned from other things? Because I am. I think things were **designed** to be a model, a model of something we didn't expect we can learn from it. Here are the things I've learned from things. BOOKS I make my own story, every chapter of my life is mine. But would you laugh at me if I told you that I'm the antagonist of my own life, so I get backlash when people read me? I used to be an open book where people can read me whenever they want, anytime or anywhere. Not until I realized that *not every piece of information about me are needed to be known*. I want to be a book where you'll beg a question about me. Every story of mine hides another story. Want to know that? Read the 4th sentence of this paragraph. TREES This may seem very common, but I want to share with you what I've learned from it. When you see a tree, you will probably think how old it is. The thing is, you don't know what struggles that tree underwent. You will come up that it only suffered from strong winds, storms etc. Nevertheless, what if I am a tree and I suffered from my co-trees. Which they made me a shield to withstand themselves when the agonising situations turned out. I learned that the people around you can hurt you and use you, so *be wise on where you want to stand.* FLOWERS I was very conscious about when I will bloom. I get jealous too fast— one of my toxic traits. When I see my fellow people around me blooming endlessly, that makes me cognizant of how late I am. So, I always stick in my mind that "what if they bloom but just outside?" They just want to impress people, fascinating people around them, dressed to kill people with their fallacies. Yes, they are a two-faced individual. I don't want to be like that, *I want to be a flower that helps another flower to grow.* Because I want to be planted like that, that is my purpose. I am not a mere flower where you can just put and design me outside- if you are going to do that, let me wither on the ground. PENCIL WITH ERASER This thing is essential. They are in one formation but they have a different objective. Pencil- is used to write or draw what you want. Eraser- is used when you want to erase something that would ruin the whole piece. On the other hand, I learned that for every single thing I create, there is something that lies in that. I admit I'm very bad at making decisions in life. That's why *I need an eraser to remove the things I create using my bad decisions so it won't affect my current life.* CHESS When things didn't happen to what you anticipated to transpired, that will leave you in a mess. So I learned that whenever things didn't fall into the place you want, you need to *be willing to adjust accordingly*. Nothing goes well when you planned it, that's why you need to put expectations sometimes. It's okay if things began not well, you know, the great twist happens at the last minute. BIRDS Dream big but never forget to look where you came from— on the ground. Birds can sing freely, they have no other reason not to sing. I want to be a bird, not because I want to sing, it's because I want to voice out freely without feeling the pressure that was put on me. I want you to be the voice of others, and I want you to be responsible for every word that spits out of your mouth. When you see a bunch of birds together, never go to the crowd or you can be put in menacing situations. *Remember, birds were allowed to soar high, so you are too.* **MOON** When I was a kid, I dream about becoming an astronaut for me to see the beauty of the moon personally. I've learned from the moon that you can be somebody's light when they are in the dark. You can be someone's reason to look forward every night. Although you're not doing anything, there's always someone who value your existence. *Self, why do you want to see the moon when you can be the moon itself?* DOG No. I'm kidding. Don't mind this. I just want to figure out how to be a dog. Lol. In conclusion, I wrote a letter for myself. *Dear self,* *Every God creation is something you can get a lesson from. Each people have a different perspective in life and we see things dissimilar. Some may see this 'thing' to be a good example, but for you, it is not. The opinion of others doesn't belong to you. No matter how wrong other opinions are, and you badly want to disagree, disagree respectfully.* These are the only things I learned from God's creations. 10 pages are not enough to put all of the things I've learned. I'm still young and naive, I believe that there are more things I have to learn on my way to the person I want to be. I would love to know what you've realised when you were on your way to becoming yourself, the comment section is open for you and your thoughts. After a month(s) of being inactive, I am here again. If you somehow found typographical and grammatical errors, don't hesitate to tell me. I'm open to constructive criticism and I would gladly accept it. **THANK YOU FOR READING**

Opponent we can't see—Depression Our mental health is so important. It affects what we feel, how we think, and our daily activities in life.Since we are just people,a normal being,we can't escape mental illness,as if it's chasing us.Our age, race, religion, state in life doesn't really matter to mental illness,he can hit people whenever he want. Teenagers has the most case of having an mental illness/disorders.They experiencing stress because of different struggles in life such as overwhelming activities in school, family problems, looking for a job, social anxiety which can lead on having a mental illness—Depression. This is the fierce opponent of our life considering it is insidious. We can face everything our eyes see but not this, this is like something we can run off,but can't hide. Depression can affect our physical health as well our emotions. It's normal for us to feel sad, down, and hopeless, that is part of our life. But having it for almost 2 weeks can lead to a serious depressive disorder. While facing depression,it develops our eating disorders, which will cause of unintended weight loss or change of appetite.Depression correspondingly influence our physical health, because of feeling down, maybe we think sometimes to hurt or harm ourselves. When we are coping with emotion pain and problems,we deal to them through self-injury.Occasionaly we hit, punch or head bang ourselves.People thought that self-injury will give them calmness and satisfaction, but no,that will only severe your emotions.I know some of my friends did this before, and i didn't do anything nor help them. But now,i'm completely moved to help them to get through with their depression.A good companion who won't hesitate to lend a help especially amid their darkest days.If you're one those people who intentionally hurt themselves, this is the sign, omit doing it,that won't bring any benefits to you. Lastly, because of depression, our mind are filled with suicidal thoughts and that is so alarming.Someone tend to end their life.People who are depressed think that there is no more reason to live, and that's b they do feel hopeless, alone, and unworthy. If you have a friend, family member,or someone you know who wants to commit like that, help them to preclude taking their own life or suicide attempt.I know it's scary, but you also need to fight, for their own sake.A few nice words can help them more than we think. It maybe a simple words for us but we don't how big it's impact to them.Remember,we talk to them to motivate and encourage them, not to invalidate their feelings.Sometimes it is not our responsibility to comfort them, our presence would be very appreciative.Make sure that we are not minimizing their problems, thus, make them realize that no matter how big or small our struggles are,we can certainly win it by the help of our God.Prayer is the best weapon to use in every despairing situations in our lives. Furthermore,if you ever feel down or depressed, don't hesitate to open up to someone.Bear in your mind that there's always someone who cares for you.Don't ever throw in the sponge, look forward and keep fighting! Hoping that this would help you or enlighten you in some other ways.Thank you for reading!!:))
