**Bosko Buha** was born in 1926 in the Slavonian village of Gradina near Virovitica into a Serbian family. In 1941, when the forces invaded the Kingdom of Yugoslavia, his family was targeted by the ustashas, they had to move to Serbia. partisans, he was repulsed, after more perseverance he managed to join them and take part in the fight.1942 he joined the second proletarian brigade of the NOVJ. He was a very talented boy, who rushed to enemy bunkers and destroyed them with hand grenades. His talent and courage became legendary, and his unit, which included many young men and children, was named **"Partisan Artillery"**. At the end of 1942, he was publicly praised by **Josip Broz Tito**.
A year later, on September 27, 1943, **Bosko Buha** was killed when the truck he was in fell into a chetnik castle near the village of Jabuka near Prijepolje.

The village of Jabuka, which is mentioned in his biography, is located between Prijepolje and Pljevlja, and you can see the slopes of those hills from our window from the house in the village. We are very close to that village which is located above 1000m above sea level. The bloodiest battles were fought there at the end of the Second World War, and right where Boško Buha died, my grandmother's brother named Stefan Dobrašinović also died and he was only 16 years old ... every war is cruel.
