Finally had the chance to bring my cousins to the Lok Lok street near my place. So happened I was craving for it too! Lok lok means "to dip" in Cantonese. It is street food on a food truck where various meat and vegetables are skewered on sticks. You can either dip it into the hot boiling water or fry it to make your food cooked. The dipping option is self-service. Meanwhile, for the frying option, the food truck owner will usually fry it with a layer of seasoning powder to make the food tastier. Broccoli, seafood tofu, cockles, Taiwan sausage and squid are among the items we chose. My cousin particularly loves fried broccoli. It is also the first time I tried it. It tasted not bad actually! Haha, new discovery! But the price has increased so much. I remember I used to get RM0.80 - RM1+ per stick years back. Now, the cheapest is RM2.90 per stick and most are RM3 and above haha. Not sure if it's just my area, I shall scout other areas' Lok Lok food trucks to survey the price. Haha Nevertheless, the food is still yummy and everyone enjoys the food! 😋 #teammalaysia #food
