Throwback to Kuala Terengganu Trip #3 Turtle Valley is a narrow alley in the heart of Chinatown Terengganu that displays the coastal city’s most iconic mascots – the sea turtles. The walls and walkways are decorated with turtle-inspired mosaic art. Sea turtles are considered as endangered species in Malaysia. But i was so shocked and sad to still see people sell turtle eggs in the local market! 😪 Apparently, it was legal in the Terengganu state. However, i saw a recent news saying the government will soon prohibit the turtle eggs sale by June 2022. 🙌🏼 Good news for you, little turtles! 🐢
