Throwback to Kuala Terengganu Trip #1 I get to travel with my parents to Kuala Terengganu back in March. Kuala Terengganu is the capital of one of the eastern states in Peninsular Malaysia, named Terengganu. Terengganu Drawbridge is a new iconic attraction in Kuala Terengganu. It was opened back in Aug 2019. But due to the last 2 years of the pandemic, I guess many didn't have the chance to visit this place yet. According to Google, this is Southeast Asia's first tower drawbridge. It has a 76-meter bascule in the middle, and it is the longest ever built on a tower bridge. The bascule can be raised and lowered for ships to pass by under the bridge. Pretty similar mechanism to London Tower Bridge. Cool architecture! #travel #malaysia
